Arrived for one night having booked the winter deal through groupon. Lovely staff at reception who were more than happy to help. We were given our room number 515 so on the top floor. When we arrived, it looked like rupunzels tower with separate lounge area which lead round to the bedroom. Very quirky room with no straight walls. The...

Back here for 1 night nearly a year after our first visit and pleased to say the food is still good, as is the service. We didn’t have quite as nice a room as last time but it was certainly adequate and at the price we paid it was good value. I think we'll be back again if we need...

The rooms are very spacious and have everything we needed, ran out of milk but reception gave us plenty more when asked. Breakfast was up with the best but did think the bar food although the portions and quality were good was a bit...

Oh dear! I would expect a much better service from a prominent Plymouth hotel. A group of friends decided to go to the Duke of Cornwall hotel, Plymouth for a lunch accompanied by a "Big Band" Lunch ordered we settled in to socialise and listen to the band. Bread rolls and butter arrived, no cutlery, no side plates. Not a...

Disappointing experience, and we are regulars who like to visit a few times a year because we had our wedding reception at the Duke back in 2001. We were allocated a room which appeared to have been poorly treated and despite us not arriving till well after check in time, the room was not ready and had not been made...
