Travelled from Scotland 4th July to the Copthorne Hotel Plymouth believing it to be a 4 star hotel. The room 421 was fair enough, clean perhaps a little tired, no room clock alarm for an early departure but can book a call from reception. The train trip from Berwick upon tweed was 8hours and had an hours driving before the...

Perfectly good hotel which is walking distance of the shops, Barbican and Pavilion. Breakfast very nice selection and the staff are friendly. Bedroom and bathroom are perfectly adequate. 20 minute wak to Plymouth life centre through a park.

Clean well maintained hotel, really good self service breakfast with lovely food, about a 15 minute walk to city shops. My father has a disability he was given a parking space so that he could easily access the hotel. The decor was good as were the facilities. Staff were amazing. Visiting Plymouth - stay here!!

Having spent two nights at the Copthorne we were very impressed and would not hesitate to stay again in the future. The only negative points were that we were unable to avail of a disabled parking space, as they were occupied, and we also had to pay for the parking as a disabled user!

No noise heard during the night and not even from other residents staying and closing doors. Bedroom warm at night but air conditioning in room which helps. Lovely view across to Smeaton tower and the hoe. Great value for...

The hotel is well located & they offer free wi fi through out the hotel! Enjoyed only BF in the hotel - good spread. The rooms are comfortable Suitable for business travellers & groups - not for a romantic getaway! Request a room not overlooking the street....
