Where do I start? In all my travelling, I have stayed in many, many hotels and B & B's and this is without a doubt the best one (given the confines of space etc) that I have visited. A warm welcome from Sue, who took us up to our room. Number 8, at the back, without en-suite, but with the...

Rainbow lodge was very nicely furnished with a modern interior, and large comfy bed. It's a shame that the toilet and shower are shared with other rooms, I would have preferred an en-suit and it's this aspect that I don't like about my stay. However, the two ladies that owned it were very hospitable and were very attentive when we...

Thank you for your review. What a shame you didn't book an ensuite room. We only have three non-ensuite rooms all the others have their own bathrooms. I'm assuming that these were the only rooms that were left that night.. Next time you come to Plymouth give us a ring and we will make sure you have one of our...

Went to Plymouth for a wedding and booked the rainbow lodge- fabulous hosts and owners/staff were very friendly and helpful. Fantastic location for the church and guildhall and lovely cooked breakfast. Rooms are lovely and clean and the owners couldn't do enough for us as we had elderly people with us. Would definitely use this guest house again.

We have been here several times, always a nice welcome, rooms scrupulously clean and comfy beds, fabulous breakfast and not expensive.........perfect really! Situated close to The Hoe and five minutes walk from the town centre, parking is easy in this district.

I'm a regular to Plymouth - though have always stayed in hotel chains outside the city centre - this was first try of a B&B and would highly recommend. Location is perfect being in the "magic circle" with the Hoe & Barbican minutes away, Theatre and Pavillions minutes away, and the main shopping centre a few minutes in other direction....

The room (8) was small but fine with a double bed and small wardrobe and sink, just nit alot of room to walk around! I didn't realise that it was a shared bathroom an toilet, but thats my mistake when booking not to check. The breakfast was lovely, a cooked breakfast that wasn't greasy at all. Lovely friendly folk that...

Upon arrival my partner and i where greeted by a lovely lady presumably one of the owners of the Lodge, we where shown to our room which was the pocket room and it was extremely clean and very well laid out. The room was spacious and very well presented, the bathroom was exceptionally clean and we where well catered for...

Had a really fantastic stay at the rainbow lodge with my partner, the owners were very welcoming and friendly. The room we stayed in was very cute and cosy with nice decor and tea and coffee facilities. There was a very nice breakfast selection in the morning, really good choice of fruit and yoghurts, nuts and seeds, as well as...

Stayed for one night on the 27th with my girlfriend as we were seeing The Kaiser Chiefs at the pavilions. Great location for the town center, pavilions and the hoe. The room was super cute, with cosy blankets and cushions, which had a complimentary coffee and tea station. The breakfast was lush with such a variety to chose from. There's...

We are glad that you had such a good time in Plymouth and that you enjoyed your stay with us. We are lucky that so many good artists and shows come to town. Having such a fantastic theatre and the pavilions so close is a real bonus - just five minutes walk. Thanks for your review.

Booked the Rainbow Lodge as my daughter had a familiarisation day at the Uni. Helpful and pleasant staff. Both of our rooms were really nice, and the free WiFi was a bonus. We both slept well : it's a nice quiet road !! Breakfast was lovely, with the offer of more of anything, but with a Fry up or continental...
