If you don't wish to be with the noise of Torquay or would prefer good views then The Babbacombe Hotel is the right place. having just been refurbished its a great improvement on the previous hotel. The room with a sea view(although costing little more) was excellent with a balcony as well, although the balconies could do with some side...

First trip away with wheelchair bound father. Booked this hotel as it has some adapted rooms and they could not have been more friendly, professional and helpful. Room was excellent for our needs. Entertainment good. Seaview outstanding. Every member of staff was a credit to this hotel.

Stayed here Friday night with a friend whilst on a business trip to the area. All staff very friendly, big twin room and a great breakfast buffet on the Saturday morning. Delightful views over the downs and a great location for nearby amenities. Lovely place.

We booked during the Easter weekend 2017. Make sure you book the sea view room as you will really enjoy the view and it's relaxing to just look outside your window. Clean rooms, clean bathrooms, nice staff. It's walking distance to the Babbacombe Cliff railway and the Model Village. It's more or less £10.00 to Torquay railway station by taxi so...

We extended a day trip to the seaside into an overnighter, staying at the Babbacombe Hotel. A well appointed room with en-suite and a sea view, nice and quiet despite the place being very busy. Plenty to eat at breakfast, and good coffee (which makes a change from many hotels), set us up for our morning spent in Babbacombe and...

This was a short break offered through a Majestic Tours advert received on the internet. We booked 2 single rooms at a cost of £89.99 each plus paid a supplement charge of £30.00 each for what we thought was for a sea view room. Instead, we were allocated what can only be described as 2 cupboards with no view other...

..but hotel catered for all our needs ... This non smoking, quiet remodeled hotel has a commanding situation on Babbacombe Downs road with wide uninterrupted sea views taking in all vistas to Portland Bill .. although there seems to be plenty of sea view rooms we did upgraded to a seaview + balcony (£5ppn extra) and it was well worth...

We booked here to spend our wedding anniversary together, and really enjoyed our stay. Reception We was welcomed as soon as we came through the door, was given lots of information and directed to our room on the first floor. Room We selected a room overlooking the sea, which takes in views over Lyme bay too, the room had a...
