We had a winter warmer themed afternoon tea. It was one of the best afternoon teas we had ever had, we've had quite a few. It was all very fresh and had a lovely selection of savoury and sweet. It was quite expensive but was well worth it. We asked for another pot of tea, which was brought out quickly.
We have stayed at the Belgrave Sands for a number of years now, taking advantage of the special offers. This hotel never disappoints. Outstanding quality of food, well trained and attentive staff in the dining room which has a wonderful relaxing ambience with the pianists (Dawn and John) playing alternate evenings. Great value for money. I could write a lot more, but do give this great hotel a try!
I have booked this hotel for a weekend away in Torque and absolutely loved it! Spa is small but got everything you need for an hours or two. Staff is outstanding: from reception to housekeeping. They are extremely nice and do an extra mile whenever you need them. We couldn't find our room and a lovely housekeeping lady walked with us. I must say staff here is something each hotel would want to have! Breakfast was delicious. Definitely coming back next time visiting Torque!
Had a fabulous spa day with my friend when we arrived. The staff was really friendly. We had tea and coffee before going down Spa. We spent some time in the spa and has some treatments with amazing Mel who has got magic hands. Thank you so much for a lovely relaxing day the food was amazing
First time staying here and really recommend. The meals were all lovely and hot. All the staff were welcoming and kind. The dining room staff couldn't do more. Many thanks to the waiter Sheldon. Served us a few times always with a smile and its nice to be served by a waiter with a lovely smell. Really recommend for a week away. Amazing rooms and general atmosphere.
Belgrave Sands is the best hotels we have stayed in. The attention to detail was superb, the room was light and airy. The staff were all efficient and friendly. The meals were fantastic. I can see why people book up year after year to stay at Christmas. It is also great value for money
We come here regularly, we enjoy this hotel because of the staff, comfort, perfect surroundings. It's central to majority of bars, restaurants and shops. If your into curry I highly recommend Richs which is 15 mins walk. See you in March 2023! Thsnk you
Travelled with KM travel our first visit to this hotel It was beautiful ,spotlessly clean and the staff were friendly and very helpful The meals were lovely always served fresh and piping hot Would definitely recommend this hotel and hope to return
The hotel is owned by a guy called Steve who used to own the headland hotel where I normally stay. But standards there are slipping so thought I’d give his new hotel a try. From the moment I arrived to the moment I left the staff were absolutely amazing, service was always quick & nothing was to much effort, the hotel has recently been refurbish & is completely spotless. Rooms were comfortable although I did find the bed a little to hard for me. Only complaint was the entertainment on the Saturday night. Sat down for dinner at 8pm & by 8.30 the entertainment had started singling & playing songs loudly. Meaning I could no longer talk with my family. Sadly this hotel doesn’t have another room for the entertainment, so we finished dinner very quickly.
6 of us had lunch today, 4 had fish and chips which were excellent, one a ravioli dish, and one soup and avocado and crayfish sandwich, both thorough enjoyed. The staff were amazing, very friendly but also efficient. The surroundings were lovely, all in all a great experience.
