Two nights away from demanding jobs, and the whole hotel experience provided us with what felt like a much longer break. The Horsley Suite offers a wonderfully spacious setting, with sea views looking out over the lawn and palm trees. Superb cream teas in the library, fabulous dining in the restaurant, and attentive, thoughtful yet unobtrusive service. Of particular note...

A first visit for us to this beautiful hotel overlooking the sea. A friendly welcome, shown to our feature room and made to feel at home. A comfortable lounge in front of the log fire made for a welcome afternoon cuppa, and later canapes in the same lounge prior to an excellent dinner from a comprehensive a la carte menu....

Another wonderful stay at Orestone Manor. This is a true gem on the South Devon coast. Breakfasts, afternoon teas and dinners are exceptional and lunch time is well used by locals. Very comfortable room, super food and as always very friendly and efficient staff. We will be back!

We stayed overnight for a birthday treat and the dinner was excellent, the staff were very friendly and the room was ample with a view over the bay. Breakfast was yummy! It was an excellent location for visiting Teignmouth and Shaldon and we also had a drive through Torquay. We went back to Orestone Manor for their afternoon tea due...

Stayed for one night and found the hotel to be clean and comfortable. We didn't have the evening meal in the hotel but we did try the cream teas which were excellent. Breakfast was in with the room charge and we couldn't fault it. The weather wasn't great so couldn't take in the sea views to well or explore the...

We stayed a Saturday evening recently at Orestone Manor which we booked at the last minute through an on-line website. We upgraded our room on arrival (not that there was anything wrong with the room we were going to have), just because they offered us an upgrade for £20! We ate in the Restaurant in the evening as the hotel...

Our room had stunning views over Lyme Bay, and was beautifully decorated. We had a huge bath and the shower was amazing too - I wish we could have stayed longer. The staff were brilliant - helpful, friendly, and welcoming. The food was excellent too - I'd recommend the cheese board with a glass fo port or two! It's a...

Thank you for your review. We are very happy you had a nice stay as you say there is a good Pub nearby as well for those wanting to experience a quaint country pub and the beach is just down the road, there is a beach car park if the hill is a bit much of a hike. I hope...

On a cold wet January night, having booked for an evening meal, we received a very warm welcome at the Orestone Manor. We were show to a tastefully decorated lounge with open fire and comfy sofas. After having pre dinner drinks and complementary canapes we were shown through to the restaurant where we enjoyed an excellent meal which was a...

The food was beautiful and well presented. The service was second to none and we felt so relaxed in such a great atmosphere. Worth a visit on that special occasion. We shall certainly return in the summer when we can sit outside.
