We stayed for a mini-break right at the end of the season, just before things started to wind down for the end of season but we were blessed with some lovely weather. The owner made us feel especially welcome on arrival with a pot of tea, whilst he dealt with some departing guests, before showing us to our room. We...

Stayed at this hotel for a week end October and on arrival we witnessed the best welcome we had ever received at any hotel in the UK or abroad. Gary made us tea, coffee and biscuits and took our luggage to our room without hesitation. The hotel is family run and we were made to feel so welcome every minute...

This is a wonderful family run hotel, rooms are very comfortable and nicely decorated, breakfast is also very good with much to choose from. You will not go wrong staying here for it's location along with the knowledge that the owners know how to run a hotel with a very nice balance of friendliness without being intrusive.

We recently spent five nights at the Meadfoot Bay Hotel and were so impressed. We were made to feel very welcome from the moment we arrived and throughout our stay. The room was lovely, the breakfast amazing, and the location of the hotel, in a residential area just up from the harbour, meant it was very quiet. We hope to...

From the moment we arrived for our long weekend break at the Meadfoot Bay we were made to feel welcome and comfortable. This is a family run hotel and it is evident that Chris and his family care about what they do. The communal areas of the hotel are decorated in keeping with the age of the property however, the...

We've stayed here twice before it's an amazing place very warm and welcoming so we thought we'd have our honeymoon here we had there top room the signature suite it's was beautiful. Chris, Caroline and Gary couldn't do enough for us, there were rose petals on the bed, the suite was spotlessly clean as always. The breakfast is very filling...

Host very welcoming. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Choice at breakfast buffet was very extensive and the cooked breakfast was very well presented. Even though the hotel must have been close to being full the service was excellent. Great location for anyone who wishes to stay in the Meadfoot area of Torquay.

Highly recommended. Great service, gluten free breakfast with lots of choice. Room was very clean and modern, bed was sooo comfortable. Lovely touches in the room such as complimentary toiletries and fresh milk and mineral water. Will definitely return.

When we arrived we were greeted by Gary, who offered us a cup of tea. He showed us to our lovely room, where there was a complementary drink of sherry, I don't normally drink sherry but this was lovely. You couldn't ask for a more friendly & clean hotel to stay in. Especially as it was our wedding anniversary.

Thank Dianne W
