Friendly greeting and plenty of local knowledge about where to visit and where to eat. The room was clean, well appointed and comfortable. Breakfast was very good, though the service was a bit quick. Parking was a bit of a white knuckle ride, but help was at hand when needed. A very handy place to stay when visiting Torquay, everything...

This small hotel is really well loved by the owners and it shows. We had a lovely room with a four poster bed, lounge area and large TV, it was very comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The full English breakfast was very tasty with fresh fruit and pastries available (on top of the usual cereals and juices) if you...

Just stayed one (Saturday) night, so not a comprehensive review. But what we did experience was very good - the staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent. The room was also excellent, on the whole - big, with a very big bed, and nicely appointed with some nice touches. In fact it would have been a 5...

This was a last minute booking literally as we snapped up a room less then 24hours before arrival. We had the last available room, the small room. We really liked the room and have stayed in smaller! Very comfortable and homely with a pleasant outlook, tea, coffee and hairdryer as usual. The owners were very obliging and friendly and would...

I stayed at the hotel for four nights whilst I sailed in a competition in the bay. The whole stay was really enjoyable. The breakfasts were delicious. The owners were kind, personable and very accommodating. They went out of their way to help me do well in the competition ! I had a great stay and would recommend them to...

Second time at this great hotel. Wayne the owner as usual was brilliant. Nothing too much trouble, great room with super comfortable bed. Recommend taking the boat trip to Dartmouth and Brixham. For £3.00 return to Brixham and £7.50 return to Dartmouth it's cheaper than driving and you don't have to find a parking spot !

We stayed last weekend for a three night stay in room five. This is the four poster suite. We were very impressed by the standard of this room. A good size space with a large T.V and sofa and a super comfy 4 poster bed complete with luxury bedding. The iPhone docking station was a fantastic touch for playing music...

Great base for exploring. Just down the hill to the harbour, 5 mins walk. All buses head from there - and several buses pass the end of the road too, so excellent location. Enjoyed our time here. Our room was very good - 9 - top of house, had everything needed. Parking looked a tricky business, so just parked in...
