Upon being shown our room, my wife and I looked in each other in disbelief. How could this shabby Inn be the ranked so highly on Trip Advisor? The room (at 136 pounds per night) was barely big enough to fit our luggage and the bed. The office was dishelved, the grounds were unkempt, we couldn't get out of there...

The secret of our successful reviews to date has been matching or exceeding guest expectation so it made us think why we had not matched yours. Especially because of 377 previous reviews 92% gave an “Excellent” review and 7.5% gave a “very good” review. Add to this the many guests who frequently return and offer no review at all, it...

Charming house, in lovely quiet location. Clean, well equipped room with lovely comfortable bed. Great breakfast, both in quantity and quality (lots of local produce). Private garden. Off road parking. Marion and Les couldn't have been more friendly and helpful, and made our stay something special. The stairs are quite steep (the house is over a hundred years old) -...

Very friendly, familiar atmosphere. Excellent hosts giving a lot of helpful tips. Always in good spirits. Child-friendly. Wonderful garden with pool. Own parking-lot on the property. It is a 15-minutes-walk along the oceanfront to the town center. We had the big garden-room and it was very spacious, new and freshly renovated. Best English breakfast ever! Selfmade fresh bread, marmelades, jams...

Marion and Les run with great enthusiasm a welcoming and really comfortable "home from home". We were delayed on our arrival due to heavy traffic coming out of London and arrived pretty weary after a week's work; we left feeing fully rejuvenated. We had the Riviera Room which was as good as any four star hotel we have stayed at...

We (myself, Husband, 3.5 year old Son and 7 Month daughter) stayed for 3 nights in the family interconnecting room. The kids room was lovely and safe and secure, they could not, nor could anyone on the other side open their door - which was a little worry of mine, but needn't have been. Our room was lovely and clean...

Excellent few days in April with Marion and Les who are lovely people and couldn't do enough to help us in whatever way they could. Good, well cooked food (proper bacon and sausages for breakfast, not forgetting the home made bread!). Our room was spotlessly clean and bed really comfortable. The hotel has a friendly atmosphere, a return visit is...

Excellent experience. Marion was the perfect hostess. The room was luxurious with a great bathroom. Really appreciated the provided Badedas! Wifi was also very good. Watched a live Sky football stream with no problems. Good food, homemade whiskey marmalade - Yum.
