I have stayed in some places but this has to be in the top 5 flea pits. Room was filthy and damp. Dust and dirt everywhere. The place looked like it had not been cleaned or re decorated in years. Stayed here on a weekend break with Leisuretime tours for a girly break, was a bit nervous after ready reviews from people who had stayed here recently. We had 4 rooms and all were clean and tidy, Staff were very friendly and evening meal and breakfast was great. Had no complaints at about the hotel

I just got back from a long weekend here with a sunrise tour. I looked up the hotel before the holiday and already was a bit nervous. Especially with all the typos throughout the website. From outside the hotel looks dated. The rooms; very very small and extremely dated! There is one tiny tiny heater which is hardly ever on....

Stayed here on a mystery trip weekend. The hotel itself have seen better days,but don't let that put you off the staff more than helpful, i recommend you try pint thatchers .Its just a short stroll down the hill in to the town.Ideal cheap weekend away.

The staff was extremely friendly. The room itself was filthy. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned for months. The carpet was filthy. Bits everywhere and the edges we're filled with dust it really did not look clean. The bathroom was pokey and had clearly not been cleaned since the last tenants we're in as there was a cup behind...

Stayed at this hotel for new year we were all pensioners given rooms at top of building 42stairs to climb no showers in rooms no lifts all in all very disappointing hotel needs a good revamp wouldn't stay there again. Staff excellent Mrs S Day

Just returned from a twixmas coach trip. Yes there was another coach party there at same time but it was xmas.Obviously cater for cheap coach parties.
