Read some good reviews of this place after looking for somewhere close to Torquay United's football ground. I was welcomed with a cup of coffee and a biscuit as soon as I arrived so felt at home straight away. The single room was quite small but cosy and all I needed for a 2 night stay. The room and ensuite...

We spent our Y2016 10-day summer break at Avron House, enjoying the homely atmosphere and great hospitality. Our quiet en-suite room #4 was very nice and impeccably clean. Not travelling by car, we appreciated the convenient location of this elegant Victorian villa, between beautiful Babbacombe and vibrant Torquay. The warm welcome from William and Andrew was a treat and the...

Excellent location, fantastically clean and tidy and superb breakfast. The guys were great too. So keen to make you welcome and to make your time there perfect. They were also interested in the local area, visiting places themselves so they could accurately advice customers what to see and do during their stay. The personal service that they gave was second to...

Never stayed here before but would again. Walk to town is 15-20 mins all downhill and the taxi back is only about £7. Nice and clean, breakfast good. We stayed in room 7 - the only downfall is the very light curtains - staying in August, it was very light in the room by 6.00.

A very warm welcome from both Andrew and William. Lovely fresh and clean throughout, food is amazing you're spoilt for choice. Lots to see and do will definitely be going back thank you both. A stroll into Torquay town centre close enough to visit around the bay via different transport modes. Plenty to do for all ages
