This is our second time staying at the Southbank Townhouse but our most recent stay was extra special as it was the Christmas package! We stayed for a week in the junior suite which is the most beautifully decorated room, with every facility you could possibly need! The separate lounge was perfect to spend time in when we weren’t out and about, and the table and chairs are great for when you order a takeaway in! The bed is extremely comfortable and a great size. Breakfast is fantastic with a great selection of choices, really good quality food. On Christmas Day we were waited on hand and foot and were served the most incredible three course Christmas dinner (and plenty of extras!!) - we had the most special day, thank you so much! The whole building is beautiful and it is situated in a close proximity to shops, takeaways, pubs, and the town. Dolores and Danny are always on hand for any requests and make you feel right at home! Couldn’t recommend the Southbank Townhouse more! We will be back!…

We have just returned from having a wonderful Christmas lunch at the Southbank Town House. Our excellent experience started with a very friendly welcome from Delores, Danny and daughter Hannah .The house was beautifully decorated, in a traditional style that suited the age of the property perfectly. The meal was really tasty , plentiful and very well presented , ( the attention to detail for everything with the meal was great ). We walked to the seafront in a few minutes and thought the location very good. We would not hesitate to recommend this Hotel for comfort , value for money and host hospitality .

Really lovely accommodation. Large clean rooms with high quality bedding, and comfortable beds. Walking distance to the promenade, shops and park. Car park on site. Friendly hosts. Fabulous Breakfast cooked fresh. A good base for looking around the area. Fab fish and chip up the road too.

Our room which was a superior king size was superb. Nothing was too much trouble. Stayed one night to attend a concert at the Pavilions which is about a 20 minute walk. Excellent breakfast, lots of choice and good standard. Only slight disadvantage was the lack of parking, however this was easily overcome by parking a couple of hundred yards down the road at another hotel, £7 for 24 hrs. Would thoroughly recommend.

Just returned from a 4 night stay at the Southbank Town House which we would thoroughly recommend. Lovely spacious, clean deluxe king size room, with tea and coffee making facilities. Danny and Delores were charming and very welcoming. The breakfasts were delicious, great choice and freshly prepared each morning with superb quality fresh ingredients including eggs laid within 24hrs of cooking!!

We stayed for 4 nights and Danny and Dolores are the best hosts we have ever come across. Nothing is any trouble, they went out of their way to help make our stay perfect. Really chatty and friendly. The hotel is clean, tidy and very stylish, we just love it there. We will be back next year for our 3rd stay. Thank you both , sharon & Sue xx

Booked for a 2 days business trip. The owner managed very gently my late arrival and early breakfast choice. The room is large, nice, clean and comfortable. The best B&B I had in this place. Many thanks Dolores, I will come back there next time.

On our arrival the owner Dolores made us feel so welcome, throughout our stay nothing was to much trouble. We stayed in room 12, we couldn't of wanted more, the room was bright spotlessly clean and the bed was so comfy. It's a short walk to the beach so the location is excellent. Parking is around the back of the property with ample spaces. The breakfast, absolutely beautiful. Definitely returning to southbank, a real gem.

Lovely Townhouse. Beautifully decorated our room was large and very comfortable with large bathroom and separate dressing area. Perfectly situated just a short walk from the marina and harbour. Breakfast was excellent. Very friendly and hospitable host. Would defiantly recommend.
