A 4 night break to chill and relax was needed and we picked the right guest house in the Torquay area. Michael and Maureen were the perfect hosts and was around when we required information on the local area for entertainment and trips. Breakfast was cooked to perfection and they do use quality suppliers not large supermarket brands. We booked...

Thank you so much for this lovely review, which is even more appreciated as I understand you are also in the industry. We love the area that we live in and as it was your first visit to the English Riviera we wanted you to enjoy as much as possible during your stay. We have lived here for a little...

We chose to stay in Torquay to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary, and were not disappointed. The Westbrook is a very comfortable guest house, with little touches that made our stay enjoyable. Check in was smooth and quick and we were shown to our room, the room was warm and comfortable, and we liked the extras like an alarm clock in...

Thank you for the lovely review, and for taking the time to do it. I would just like to say that 20 mins would take you right down to the harbour and bottom of the town centre from here if you took the seafront walk, but if you go in the opposite direction from the Westbrook the top of the...

We have always found Maureen and Mike to be very hospitable and there establishment is always very clean and tidy. They will do all...

My booking was for 5/6 rooms. We all enjoyed our stay. Didn't stay in the room much, only to shower before going out to watch Oxford play Torquay on day 1 and then celebrate NYE. Its in a nice location, perhaps a little too far from the main street with the shops and pubs/restaurants but a £5 taxi away. A...

I have to say we were very disappointed with our stay at the Westbrook. Not fair to class as a "Hotel" this is a small Bed & Breakfast. As soon as you walk in you can tell the host Maureen has been busy..... Busy with her laminating machine!!!! there are laminated signs EVERYWHERE!!!! even one telling us not to flush...

Thank you for your time in leaving us a review, but I would have appreciated it more if you had made sure your facts were correct. We are NOT advertised as a 'hotel' but as a guest house. It would only come up under hotel if other reviews had mentioned the word hotel, which is beyond my control. The toilet...

We came to Devon to relax after a month of touring around the UK. Our stay at the Westbrook was perfect, it is centrally located, so walking to the seaside is easy. Our ensuite room was very clean, the tea tray, towel warmer, and book exchange were welcome perks. Our host Maureen arranged for our laundry to be picked up...

Our break was made by Maureen's to die for Desserts, our 3 day Theatre break included a 2 course evening meal which the Menu's were varied and beautifully prepared and presented. The seats for Grease were included in the price and was well worth seeing. As always Maureen and Micheal were the perfect hosts. Can't wait to return for 'Legally...
