Room on first floor, with no net curtains so other rooms can see right in. Wifi is a joke...Bathroom and room are in poor condition, and I swear I've been in nursing/care homes that had better facilities. And looking around the room, I thought it was a care home...no offence to anyone that stayed here when we did...The photos shown...

Trecarn Hotel Torquay. AKA 'Foisty Towers' What a dump. Arrived and the coach parked at the back, where the wall had been partially demolished by a previous coach driver. Along several narrow dark, damp smelling passages to reception. The lift was similar in size to a telephone kiosk, I opted to climb the stairs rather than wait for 20 odd...

Booked to stay here for one night only to avoid travelling on good friday. We thought we had got ourselves a bargain at £33 a night, this was an offer and normally considerably more. Upon arrival at around 7pm even before entering this place I had a feeling of foreboding as we had to walk through thick cigarette smoke from...

We're staying here for 1 night (luckily no more!) On arriving at our room, there was wee in our toilet and I toilet roll. Damp patches on the ceiling, curtains falling off the rails. Bed is hard too so not hopeful for a good nights sleep. We're on the 2nd floor and can hear the evening entertainment from our room...

Four of us stayed on a National Holidays five day break. It is a large rambling hotel with over 200 bedrooms some not accessible by lift, our bedrooms were up two flights of stairs. The bedroom was a reasonable size with comfortable beds and spotlessly clean, it had a large bathroom with a shower over the bath and plenty of...

I've seen a lot of negative reviews so didn't expect much. But this place is excellent. Room is newly decorated with a smart ensuite, we couldn't be happier. We even have a balcony and all for £34 per night for a twin room. Great location near babbacome and oddicome beaches, saint Mary church close by, nearby too are babbacome theatre,...
