All I can say is, the building and the contents are little dated. The day staff were extremely helpful and attentive. But it's a different story for the night guy. Cause parking is limited, they double park cars. He got very aggressive when we told him we couldn't move one of our cars cause we'd all had a drink and... More

Just got back from a four night stay at the Carisbrooke Hotel. All the staff were friendly and approachable. Breakfast was great. Choice of cereals and/or a full English with toast. Overall the hotel could do with updating. The bar/dining areas are tired looking and in need of a lick of paint and new blinds. Our room was the same.... More

Started the day off with a fantastic breakfast - delicious full English available with as much tea and coffee as you could manage. The children enjoyed having their hot chocolate every morning. Staff were wonderfully helpful, friendly and professional - particularly Ana Sousa who was lovely. Great location - 5 mins from the seaside. We'll definitely stay there again.

This is an extremely clean and well organised hotel with extremely nice staff. Free parking and delicious breakfast. Great value. 5 minutes to beach . Very family friendly. You will not be disappointed for the price.

Although the facilities are pleasant and the location is okay the attitude of the night staff was very unpleasant. Rude, obnoxious and disrespectful to guests are some of the words I would use. If they can improve the night shift staff to the same high levels of daytime staff they could have a really nice experience instead of one soured.... More

We booked exclusive use of the Carisbrooke Hotel for a badminton camp during May half-term, which worked really well. We didn't have to worry about our lively children disturbing other guests and it felt really safe and secure. The rooms were basic but spotless and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, willing to work around our needs. Food was... More

Stayed with a school party. Have used the hotel before and would use it again. Clean and comfortable rooms. Hotel Manager, Jamol, was so very helpful and welcoming, as were all the hotel staff. They were very friendly and made sure all the children and adults were as comfortable as possible. The food was lovely - many of the children... More
