Got a deal with Groupon - £69 for B&B 1 night for a double room. Good value but would not pay that much more. It needs a face lift. Staff are friendly enough & breakfast was nice. Room was great as looked over sea and pier - we were very lucky. Check in at 3 is a bit late but...

I booked a room at Royal Bath last minute with a 50% discount, and I have to say I would not have been happy had I paid full price. It's a huge hotel, you can see how it must have been very grande and posh back in its day, and the location by the beach is a big advantage, but...

We wanted a last minute short break but needed to take our dog along , which limited our choices . Although I wouldn't have expected this hotel to be in the "Dog Friendly" sector they couldn't have been more accommodating . Without having to disturb those clientele in the hotel that may not want dogs around ( something that we...

We stayed this past weekend and where do we start. The room was massive. The service was was excellent. The food was ok on our first night but there are many places to eat within walking distance. Best of all, the beach is just a few minutes walk away. The indoor pool is big and clean. The hotel is massive...

I booked a Groupon voucher for Spa and Afternoon Tea. We were expecting a four-starts Spa at the Royal Bath with much more better and nice facilities for a luxury hotel. The changing room was very dirty and most of the lockers were broken. Only one small pool and one smal jacuzzi very different than in pictures. However, the afternoon...

Lovely view of the sea from our nice bedroom... the evening meal was a little disappointing to be honest and the bar was a bit expensive... fantastic location though..... a pity about the threadbare carpets in the corridors and stairs, but it would cost many thousands to lay new ones !!

GOOD POINTS Staff in all areas of the hotel were professional and pleasant throughout our stay We were given a large room with four poster bedroom ( from seeing the room options I'm aware this is not a standard...

Nice hotel in a great position, with cheap car parking nearby. Very impressive room, with sea view etc at a very reasonable price. Great pity our night was ruined by by drunken guests at 0330 in the morning!!! Shouting, screaming banging doors etc etc.......thought that was just that night as moved to another hotel, the Britannia for the next night....

We decided to take a quick "twixtmas" break at this hotel as I had always wanted to stay there - it has a beautiful facade very close to the lovely beach in Bournemouth. We booked via Booking.com and headed off for our break. Arriving at the hotel around 7.45pm, we were very disappointed to learn that the hotel restaurant only...

Brought a Groupon voucher, paid extra to stay on Saturday Night. Loved the outside of the building, the Bar had a nice feel, however I felt that the furnature had seen better days. Our Bedroom was down in the Basement with frosted, wired glass, we couldn't see out of and even if we could it was a whitewashed brickwall.30's type tables...
