We have just returned from a last minute night away and at £40 for the night including spa access thought this was fantastic value. We arrived a little early and our room wasn't ready so enjoyed a coffee in the bar. Checked in quickly and the reception staff couldn't of been any nicer so friendly and helpful. We were charged...

Stayed for two days on business and the dog came too. Being dog friendly there was an extra charge and perhaps the room in which we stayed was a specific dog stay room as the carpet looked tired. The room was spacious and had a balcony, looking over the front of the hotel, although the zip mattress in our room...

Attended a boot camp for the first time. Had a fantastic time, the staff could not do enough for us, from the reception, to the restaurant and the trainers. The spa facilities were lovely, and the massage treatments were the perfect tonic for a fit camp that was really well organized. I stayed at the Ocean Beach Hotel last year,...

For the past few years Queens Hotel has been organising week long boot camps in the Autumn and Winter. I signed up not really knowing what to expect apart from lots of exercise, some time perhaps to read a book, a fun week beside the sea and maybe the loss of a few inches. Well...this was one of the most...

Just the one night stay on the way to Devon, but it is in a lovely spot, convenient for a walk along the prom to the pier, as well as into town. I agree the décor is a little dated but it was a great price, and the single room and comfy bed were all I needed. Nice friendly staff,...

Stayed in January for a two night weekend away, lovely welcome greeting and nice room with soft mattress although only downfall was it was right next to the lift so noisy all day/night. Only a short stroll to the beach, and spa and pool facilities were excellent.

Private restaurant booking - in January 2017 21 staff attended our annual staff dinner. We were made very welcome on arrival. We had a Table d’hôte Dinner menu and the food was excellent as was the service. The staff were friendly, nothing was too much trouble, either in the Garden Bar or the restaurant. We all had a super evening....

Over all the stay wasn't anything to write home about. The hotel decor is very dated, especially apparent in the rooms, our blanket was very thin with clumps of stuffing here and there. However, our room did have an enormous window with a view of the sea. The dinner was quite nice, especially the beef stir fry. Breakfast was also...

Dear arturpogorzelski29 Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us. I know the bedroom in which you stayed and I have reviewed the duvet and it is a 10.5 tog. We have 13.5 tog in stock and could have provided this if required as we don’t want any of our guests to feel cold. I...

Don't judge a book by its cover. Looks all good from outside but not up to what you expect when opened that is the best way to describe this hotel. 1 Staff require customer service training not to be arrogant to guests. Not to answer back in such a arrogant way as if they are always right and don't believe you....

This was expected MERVYN B. I have replied to steve s and Jodie S, so naturally I was anticipating your contribution from the little group you were in. If any of the team were in any way arrogant then I am truly appalled and very sorry – this is however, very much unlike us all. This is not what we...
