Stayed at the Hermitage on business this week. Booked a single room, and it certainly was that! Small room with no room for a desk / table, so don't go for one of these if you need to work! Staff were courteous and friendly, but it all feels a little dated. Breakfast was OK, couldn't rate it any higher than...

...couldn't fault the Hotel or staff. A very pleasant weekend. Despite booking an 'Inland' room we were delighted to be allocated a very spacious 'Superior' sea facing room on the second floor. All staff were friendly and polite, demonstrating a level of competence that comes with aproppriate training and commitment. Chris and Timea at Reception were exceptional, we were warmly...

Given the price I paid I was expecting more from this hotel. The room was very small and the shower in the bathroom particularly tight. I'm not that big a guy and I found it very cramped. However the location was great, breakfast was ample and tasty and the staff were exceptional, namely Timea who checked us in and Christopher...

This is a very nice hotel with extremely pleasant staff. The rooms are maybe a little dated but all you need is there, our room was extremely spacious, and the breakfast is excellent. The bar service is very good and we enjoyed a very nice weekend here.

My wife and I stayed at the hotel for a long weekend. As previously we could not fault the service, food and friendliness of the staff. The hotel undergoing some updating on the rooms etc. but you are not aware of any noise or problems. Because of the closeness of the shops, beach and local transport after we arrive we...

Sadly i have visited here a few times with friend's and relative's and wont be returning again. Unfortunately we have found the new staff very snappy with the younger, more inexperienced staff, its very unpleasant to watch an older lady who shows very little experience herself boss around people with very little respect as to what else is going on...

We booked on a night when Dancers were in town at the BIC... We were told that the hotel would be full. We were offered a 'cheaper' room ( In fact we have since discovered that the price was the same as a far superior very well known Hotel around the corner charge). The heating did not work in the...

Surprised about your review although a little economical, room rate as booked on day 80.00 for two people accommodation and breakfast to include onsite parking, if this is the same as the hotel you mention we'll eat our words. All radiators are controlled by individual thermostat, we turned this from zero to five and hey presto it worked, fairly simple...

Good location right next to beach. Parking wasn't good (lots of double parking) but able to stay in the multi-storey car park which is virtually the road although you pay for this. Reception wasn't particularly friendly or efficient. Room and bathroom were ok. Stayed here as a base for a race and it was good for this. But decided not...

It's been a couple of weeks since we were at The Hermitage and I still have fond memories. An extremely nice, conveniently situated hotel with excellent and friendly staff. Good food, reasonably priced, and a very relaxed atmosphere.
