Booked one night stay in twin room. Wished I'd taken heed of the poor reviews before booking. When realised the negative points that other guests had raised emailed through via Booking.Com and made 'special request' to receive: 1. Reasonable sized twin room as travelling with luggage 2. Stayed here (Maemar) in a family room for one night. Got exactly what I expected for £50. Decent size room small in floor size but didn't feel cramped due to high ceilings, clean but definitely needs revamp. Beds are just domestic so can't take the usage and were very saggy. after reading the reviews i was a bit apprehensive about going here after reading all the bad reviews. but the place is not bad at all. entering the rooms which were clean with folded towels on the bed and small little soap. maid service everyday for fresh towels and refill on tea and coffee. staff are friendly and bar prices...

This is a scam it's the same hotel as glendevon Do not go here with children all drunken people screaming all night music blaring and drug use smelling the hotel completely out staff are rude and unhelpful they are unable to take charge total waste of money if I didn't have my child I would have slept in the beach...

In my opinion this hotel is a good option to stay in Bournemouth, it's offer every services and its very near to the downtown of the city, I stayed there for 7 days and the experience was really good.

I was take an unbiased view of reviews because a lot of people expect 5star at budget price. I needed somewhere to stay after an event as my flight left the following morning. you are supposed to get what you pay for 2 star ? I think we got 3 star nice clean place staff very helpful food very good . clean room .would definately go again .we had a very enjoyable new year stay.

After all the negative reviews on this hotel I have to say I have just got back from a coach party with my husband,and found the room we stayed in, very clean and comfortable bed,the staff were fantastic,the food was excellent,could not really fault this hotel.everyone was friendly.and would like to thank the waitresses for there good work.
