Really helpful staff, clean, and very comfortable, close to some food shops and within easy reach of the beach front. When my itinary changed staff were efficient and made sure I had a room for the rest of my stay with them. The rooms were clean well equipped, with tv's and tea trays. Breakfast was very good.

A very friendly welcome. Our room was spacious and had a lovely shower! Nice and powerful! Kettle, tea coffee etc and a hair dryer. Location was perfect... only a short walk to the beach and to town. Breakfast was excellent. Wish we could have stayed longer! Definitely will be returning!

We stayed 2 nights in Feb half term. Our room was clean and a nice size. The hotel was quiet and very comfortable. We had breakfast one of the mornings and we enjoyed it. The hotel is close to the beach and the town and there are some lovely restaurants and bars in walking distance.

Just what we wanted for cheap and cheerful last minute birthday trip to bournemouth. 3 girls staying in a twin and single room. Check in - simple, friendly and informative. We were given a map and local recommendations. When we mentioned we were celebrating a birthday we were offered to pop to the bar at some point for a free...

We choose the small double room expecting it to be tiny. But it wasn't. It was just right. The room was beautifully designed and the bathroom was lovely. The staff were so helpful and polite. The breakfast was so amazing for the money you pay. Definitely the best scrambled eggs I've ever had. Can't wait to book to come back!

Stayed at the Applewood as we didn't want to take a taxi home in the early a.m. Found the room clean, compact and functional as we were going to do was sleep. Well located for town, so went for a shopping trip before and had a few drinks and food in town . Made a good weekend

I arrived quite late but the receptionist swiftly checked me in. On arrival at the room I was greeted by a very clean and comfortable space. I immediately felt at home. The bathroom was very cleverly fitted into the side of the room, also very clean and shiny. Couple of things I noticed with are a HUGE help; more than...

The hotel was very clean and freshly decorated. Good central location. No frills but perfect as a base. Easy to park in front of the hotel. Just within easy walking distance of the seafront and town. Reasonably priced.

We stayed last night at the apple wood hotel for a hen do. First impressions: outside is dated, however once through the door the decor is inviting and very stylish. We were greeted at the reception by a lovely lady who welcomed us and gave us the keys. The room was decorated in a similar fashion and very clean and...

Well they have spent a lot of money on the hotel bathrooms, l though there was no where in the shower to put your soap or shampoo. I just wish they had spent some money on the mattress instead, it was just too thin and lumpy for a good nights sleep.
