Pleasantly surprised at how nice Applewood hotel was. The hotel was lovely and clean and furnished really well. The full English breakfast is a must, fresh produce that wasn't greasy at all. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Anna was particularly helpful in giving us ideas as where to go to make the most of our stay. Our family room...

I stayed in this hotel with my sister last weekend, it was such a great place! I want to make a special mention for Anna - She made our stay better than we could've expected. On arrival, she greeted us with a lovely 'hello, how are you' and was just genuinely friendly and lovely. She helped us find places nearby,...

Really helpful staff, clean, and very comfortable, close to some food shops and within easy reach of the beach front. When my itinary changed staff were efficient and made sure I had a room for the rest of my stay with them. The rooms were clean well equipped, with tv's and tea trays. Breakfast was very good.

A very friendly welcome. Our room was spacious and had a lovely shower! Nice and powerful! Kettle, tea coffee etc and a hair dryer. Location was perfect... only a short walk to the beach and to town. Breakfast was excellent. Wish we could have stayed longer! Definitely will be returning!

We stayed 2 nights in Feb half term. Our room was clean and a nice size. The hotel was quiet and very comfortable. We had breakfast one of the mornings and we enjoyed it. The hotel is close to the beach and the town and there are some lovely restaurants and bars in walking distance.

Just what we wanted for cheap and cheerful last minute birthday trip to bournemouth. 3 girls staying in a twin and single room. Check in - simple, friendly and informative. We were given a map and local recommendations. When we mentioned we were celebrating a birthday we were offered to pop to the bar at some point for a free...

We choose the small double room expecting it to be tiny. But it wasn't. It was just right. The room was beautifully designed and the bathroom was lovely. The staff were so helpful and polite. The breakfast was so amazing for the money you pay. Definitely the best scrambled eggs I've ever had. Can't wait to book to come back!

Stayed at the Applewood as we didn't want to take a taxi home in the early a.m. Found the room clean, compact and functional as we were going to do was sleep. Well located for town, so went for a shopping trip before and had a few drinks and food in town . Made a good weekend
