I've stayed in a numerous of hotels in Bournemouth and this is by far the worst. It took ages to check in, the staff was rude, and it's very grubby. I asked for a double room which was then provided with two single mattresses put together. You don't get wifi on the top floor and it does say on the...

Cheap, good location, sizeable room, comfortable bed and excellent shower. Unfortunately that's the end of the positives. The room was shabby ( as was the rest of the place) with old furniture and a dirty carpet. Inadequate lighting in the room with no bedside lamps. Reception claimed to be '24 hours' but no-one there quite often. The worst aspect was the...

I paid £30 for 1 night. Check-in was easy. The room was very basic but did the job! I don't know how many guests where staying, but overall the hotel was quiet- we where also on the non road side and had very little outside noise. Everywhere looked well kept, however the furniture is quite old and dated. But perfectly...

I would rather crawl through a barrel of broken glass to put a match in a freshly laid turd of roy chunby brown than stay here again. The place is run down, shabby & dated, i had to run round in the shower to get wet, my so called double room consisted of two single beds hoiked together with two...

The fully staffed reception and concierge service was nothing bar. exemplary. The warm and friendly staff escorted me to my suit. I stayed in room 8. Can I just say wow....

When arriving, we waited 45 minutes at reception for the owners to try and find our pre-booking. We decided to take the lift. No one told us that the lift didn't have a stable door and in fact moved, so with 4 of us in the lift. It got stuck and no one came to help. Entering our rooms, I...

I had booked directly with the Maemar hotel only to arrive and find it closed with a note on the door to go next door to the Glendevon. The room I stayed in was actually this hotel. I stayed an extra night after an event for my flight next morning. Left a detailed review for the place I was supposed...

Can only say that this is one of the strangest hotels I've ever stayed in! First impressions: a bit rundown and in need of an upgrade, but that doesn't really matter when you're only staying for one night like us (which is seriously enough). The receptionist asked for photo ID which was slightly bizzare seeing as we'd booked through booking.com...
