Beautifully kept, well-appointed, clean room + friendly helpful staff - what more could you want?

As soon as we arrived we received a friendly greeting from Rob. Who went on to explain about the hotel, the area etc and then showed us to our room, asked if we would like help with our luggage or if we needed anything else. The b&b overall was very clean and well maintained. (Cleanliness being one of the most...

I stayed for four days in a single room which, on my arrival was immaculate as was every aspect of this small but fragrant and excellently maintained hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners and staff who were extremely caring, attentive, pleasant and helpful. If I ever wanted to visit Bournemouth again, I would certainly make this hotel...

A lovely B&B. The rooms were decorated in a contemporary style, the owners were helpful and the full english breakfast delicious. The location is good, easy enough to walk to shops, bars and the hotel was amazingly cheap considering the quality.

Overall we experienced a nice stay. We had two gripes though, firstley the bed in our front room was very hard for us though we realise that some people may appreciate a hard bed. The room was also overlooking the street and we found it quite noisy with shouting around one in the morning on the Saturday. I'd suggest to...

This ansolutely charming British seaside hotel was a joy to stay in for our visit to Bournemoutrh. We loved the location.. very easy to visit all the main Bournemouth attractions. Loved the attention to detail... esp the beautiful crystal lights. The rooms were very well appointed and clean.. very important. .. We were made to feel like visiting family rather...

Perhaps amarillo will respond to this by saying they have no record of us? Well it's true. after giving a deposit AND having the booking confirmed we where informed that there was no room available as they had cocked it up. eventually we went somewhere else but it was all upsetting and if you plan to stay here you MUST...

We were very upset to read this review. If we had double booked, you would have been given your deposit back and we would have booked you in another guest house. That is why we find this review very confusing.

I certainly do not recongnise the Amarillo from the previous accounts and indeed mine are more consistent with the majority of the others. As someone who is fairly fussy, travels extensively both nationally and internationally and who tried a lot of B&Bs before finding the Amarillo I can honestly say that this small family run guesthouse is excellent and consistently...

The web pages of Amarillo may portray this establishment as grander than it is which may be why it has attracted some 'below par' criticism. We considered it adequate for a two day stay ~ but limited in facilities. The road seemed peaceful for us and near the railway. Our room was well appointed though small with a quaint shower...
