We have stayed at the Eastbury 3 times in the last few months. Each time on a Secret Escapes deal. The hotel is welcoming and cosy with a warm welcome upon arrival on each visit. We have had a different room each time all of which have been of a good standard. The Secret Escapes deals have included the 7...

We booked for early January, but due to illness postponed our stay for two weeks. As it was a prepaid offer, we were concerned that we might forfeit the stay, but the hotel was very accommodating the date change at short notice. Top marks!! Arrival was welcoming, with the offer to be shown to our room which was lovely, comfortable...

I have just returned from a delightful tea at the Eastbury. My friend and I were treated to a wonderful selection of sandwiches which we couldn't finish, as we had to leave room for our very fattening scones, cream and jam. Needless to say we managed to finish these. We felt very comfortable and were made to feel welcome, even...

We booked a night, including a five-course tasting menu, for our 5th wedding anniversary, via Amazon Local. From the moment we arrived, 99% of what we received was perfect: friendly and helpful welcome; beautiful room: tastefully decorated; spotless; with thoughtful touches, like the home-made biscuits, accompanying the well-stocked tea-making facilities; large, modern bathroom, with a central tap in the bath,...

we cannot recommend this hotel enough. We booked through Secret Escapes and checked with them a couple of times to ensure that the 7 course tasting menu was included in the price as it was so reasonably priced. The service was impeccable throughout, from reception to the waiting staff in the restaurant. Our room was lovely, very quiet, beautiful bed...

We took advantage of a Secret Escapes deal and could not believe the value for money. Although the room was up 2flights of stairs, one of which was quite steep and narrow, it was lovely. It was large with small ante room and separate bathroom and toilet off a small landing, it felt like a private suite! We had the...

The Eastbury is our bolthole to spend a special weekend in the village of Sherborne - taking full advantage of their (should be michelin star) chef's tasting menu. A delightful place to rest, shop and eat !

We booked this hotel because of the secret escapes offer which included a night stay for two and 7 course tasting menu, which I have to say was absolutely amazing value. We stayed in one of the superior rooms and we were blown away by how lovely it was, the bed was big and very comfortable and the bathroom was...

I was going to say I couldn't fault any aspect of this hotel, but in fact there is nothing I would not praise. Can't wait for a reason to come back. They have single rooms which means an excellent room rate for a solo traveller. I arrived too late to try the restaurant, but the breakfast was first class. The...

Had an overnight stay at the Eastbury on our way to Devon. On arrival the receptionist was very friendly and helpful, explaining where the car park was and how to get there, also advising to leave our bags by the steps at the back of reception as our room was in the courtyard at the rear of the hotel. On...
