Really enjoyed our time here. Lovely spot, amazing views and great location. They don't do BABY cots ? Which we didn't know and thus was a real issue !!! There is no where in swanage to buy one and as we weren't told we didn't bring our travel cot! Lift broke and 3rd floor room wasn't ideal in that case...

The grand hotel overlooks swanage. As it's name grand old lady. Lovely hotel. Very friendly staff, lovely food. My husband is in a wheelchair, but they kindly reserved a parking slot for us. There is a slope up to the front doors so very accessible. At the moment they are taking on a mamouth upgrade but t the same time...

If you like being presented with food menus stained with food and drink or seeing food stuck to radiators in the dining area; then this is is the place for you! Outdated, peeling wallpaper abounds. Patched up ceilings stained walls and a generally stuffy feel.

We have just had a five night break in Swanage at the Grand Hotel and have experienced one of our most disappointing stays in a hotel for many years. The hotel has an amazing location with fantastic sea views from the back of the hotel and a really good leisure centre, but I am afraid that is where the good...

A gorgeous setting with good, simple and very tasty food. Good service from Will and Elliott. Recommended. Good beer, good wine list. Spectacular views to boot across Swanage bay. The trees obscure the Moslem Centre which is always a bonus.

This hotel is in a superb location having great views of Swanage Bay. It was no doubt a super place many years ago but the current decor is in need of upgrading. We were only their for Bed Breakfast and evening Meal. Our room faced the road, and was very small, which included the so called double bed, which was also...

Thank you for your review. I am pleased to hear that you enjoyed your Dining experience, the Restaurant has magnificent view across the bay and has recently been refurbished. We have a breakfast award from Visit England and I am concerned to hear that you were disappointed with yours and I would have liked the opportunity to have discussed this...

I booked this on a magazine promotion for two nights B&B plus one night's dinner. We were aware that the hotel was somewhat dated, but chose it for its situation and good reviews on food. And we weren't disappointed. Husband was delighted on day 1 after a thirst-making walk along the beach to discover that the hotel bar served an...

Just had a wonderful carvery lunch in the coast restaurant. Lots of choice on offer & the homemade stuffing with the chicken was incredible. Followed by drinks in the conservatory whilst taking in the stunning views on such a beautiful day.
