Perfect location for our February fishing trip in Swanage. Very helpful friendly owners and staff Both rooms were clean and have all you need for our two night stay but fairly basic ie no hair dryers or drawers provided and only one short hanging rail in the room Everything worked and water warm so we were very happy Breakfast was...

Desperation got the better of us!! Checked in to the pub on Saturday, staff didn't appear to have a clue if there was available accommodation and what rooms were available if so. Room well over priced for what it is, dark, shabby, no wardrobes or drawers to put clothes in, just a wooden rail on the wall - didn't want...

Great location. Family room was fine. Had everything we needed, but plumper pillows would help make the stay more enjoyable. Staff were very friendly and were genuine. They couldn't do enough to help. Breakfast was lovely, service was brilliant. Will go back.

Stayed for one night on the 19.3.16. The room was clean enough but everything was very shabby . The tea in the room tasted strange - probably old tea bags. The pub itself is filthy - tables sticky to touch and the carpet in the main bar had so much dirt ground into it that it looked as if liquid...

Nine of us were on a golf tour of the Isle of Purbeck over the weekend. We stayed at the White Horse for three nights and it provided us with the perfect base. No frills, but it is clean and tidy and just what we needed. Ross and Diane were great hosts, along with all their friendly and helpful staff....

This is an honest spit n sawdust type pub. Its large ans well suited to hosting events tha tables are cleared so plenty of room to see some great music . If the mustangs are playing make tge effort the place will be bouncing. As a standard the staff are friendly and helpful and its a relaxing pub.

We needed a place close to our friends in Swanage and luckily chose The White Horse. Bar staff were very friendly and the choice of beers was excellent. The bedroom we had was a little dated but the bed was great, very comfortable. As for the breakfast although there was cereal etc on offer very glad we did'nt indulge as...

Came here to eat 3 times in the week that i stayed in Swanage, the food is very reasonably priced and really good. I would recommend having the pie. It's also a great place to just go for a drink with sky sports and BT sports on, also a fantastic jukebox. Would recommend coming to this pub if you are...

I have stayed here a good few times over the years and seen some great bands play here. I find the place good value with no pretensions like the majority of places. The location is great ,right in the heart of the town and close to the pier. The food is not gourmet but good. If I want a gourmet...
