Booked 2 night stay for family celebration. Quiet guest house recently renovated. Comfortable room with all amenities. En-suite clean and more than adequate. Comfortable bed. Breakfast cooked to order and good variety of food. Wi-Fi free and good speed. Parking space available. Value for money with friendly owners. Will definitely stay on next visit and thoroughly recommend.

Booked this guest house last minute for myself, husband and son, and what a little gem it turned out to be. Alan and Charlene were wonderful hosts and nothing was to much for them. Breakfast was absolutely delicious, the black pudding (if you like it) was the best I've tasted in a long time. Only a minute walk to the...

Just back from a fantastic mini break at The Rookery (previously the Danesfort). The location is fantastic - just a 2 minute walk to the gorgeous beach. Highly recommend the veggie cooked breakfast and my children also enjoyed eating pizzas at the Rookery in the evening - which was a great option for dinner after the long drive from home!...

The rooms were very comfortable, excellent breakfasts and facilities. Nothing was too much trouble for Alan and Charlene, who were very attentive and looked after us extremely well. This included allowing us to...

Handy and really welcoming B&B. Family friendly. Just a few minutes from the (sandy) beach, with two handy pub/restaurants within 5 minute walk. Comfy double room had ensuite and hostess tray. Other rooms have bunks for family groups. Generous cooked breakfast, with fresh (hot) croissants, lovely greek yoghurt, porridge, toast. You name it - nothing too much trouble. If you...

Very welcoming with nice rooms good bed linen. Breakfast was excellent maybe too much but I managed it. Only a very short walk to the beach and a gentle stroll to Swanage town centre along the sea front. Soon to change its name to The Rookery
