The Pines Hotel is very nice, parking good. The ambience of the hotel is lovely and the view spectacular. My husband and I took my sister to the hotel for afternoon tea consisting of cucumber sandwiches - cucumber was cut too thick and not presented very well - just on plates as you would in your own home not on...

Booked last minute for a bank holiday Sunday night - was a pit expensive but was an awesome view, although would have been nice to have had a balcony. Nice modern room - bathroom was small and would probably have been better with just a decent shower and no bath rather than the not very good one over the bath....

Excellently located right next to the beach with beautiful sea views. Friendly, competent, helpful and kind receptionist staff. The dinner menu was delicious and varied with interesting local fish dishes. The bedrooms were lovely with fabulous views out to sea through French windows. A lovely break.

Stayed in a family room - with two dogs and two kids, very clean, comfy beds, and more than enough room. Rate included breakfast, the food was amazing. Have never been offered such a choice in a hotel. Beautifully cooked breakfast, made us wish we had eaten at the restaurant the previous evening. Staff all really lovely, helpful and serve...

It is situated at the eastern end of swanage on the cliffs. The views are stunning. We had a garden room, doors to a lawn overlooking the bay. The room was good. The double bed on the smaller side and the mattress very soft. If one turns the others wobbles. Breakfast was good and the restaurant for dinner was good...

Enjoyed our stay at this hotel fabulous view from our room looking out to sea. The room loomed lime it had recently been decorated although the TV was rather small. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice and the service was very quick.

We stayed at the Pines for a couple of nights during a short stay in Swanage. Have to firstly say the staff were exceptional kind and helpful and were always attentive and considerate. We stayed in a family suite with separate small self contained bed room for our daughter and this was absolutely ideal. The rooms were clean, well aired...

We stayed at this hotel for two nights; we were part of a large walking group. This is a comfortable hotel. Pleasant welcome from reception. Room was fine 9save for the smell of paint mentioned below) particularly as there was an adjoining single bedroom which we used to store cases etc. Spectacular sea view. Small negatives - the room smelt...

The hotel is positioned on the cliff top with a direct path down to the pebble beach from the hotel garden. The view from our room was great. The room was clean and correctly furnished but on the small side. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful and our dog was made welcome. Breakfast was very good.
