The location is fantastic! Right by the beach, 10 minutes from the coach station and close to restaurants and shops. The staff was super friendly and there was an electronic key card to enter the building (20 GBP deposit). However, there were no lockers and the room was rather drafty. Also, it wasn't very clean, the kitchen floor was always...

Except the location and clean sheets everything was terrible. The man on the reception didn't tell us the cheaper parking lots to park our car. If we believed him we would pay £24 for our car. Hostel corridors were stinking. We stayed at the room with en suite. No wifi was available. Beds were extremely thin and squeaking. Walls were...

Ran Brighton marathons and Stayed here the night before. The room is compact but more than enough room. The staff on the front were great, and on the Sunday let us leave our bags in reception till 5pm whilst I was out running, which was a massive help! Walls are thin and we heard lots of noise so didn't sleep...

Staff was unprofessional and rude. I was told that I had only "half a brain" by one of the staff members. He was scottish and a very unpleasant person. I had called in advance to tell them that we would be arriving late and was reassured that there would be somebody there to let us in. They almost wouldn't let...

It is what it is, and what it is, is a hostel. The staff were friendly enough. We had our own basic twin bed room with ensuite shower and toilet. The beds were very creaky as we're the flooring. The walls were thin and every step up the stairs, or every word spoken, by our fellow guests, were heard throughout...

Fantastic value for money, perfect location, room was quiet, it was warm, bedding was clean and comfortable, the room neighbours were barely heard, had an ideal en suite bathroom, only downsides were no towels (obviously), the bathroom door wouldn't close properly and there was no decent size mirror in the room. But apart from that it was perfect.

After reading reviews for this hostel I was worried about the conditions but decided to give it a try. Upon arrival I was greeted by two friendly men at the reception desk who were pleasant to chat to and explained the hostel experience to me as I'd never used one before. After making my way to the room I was...

Bad bad bad, everthing bad. Just location it's the only and good thing. The carpet, totally stained and bad looking. Just one shaver for at least 8 rooms (double, triple, four, who knows how many people in?). Toilette without a key but plenty of toilette paper. Wi fi it was a joke. Avoid it. Bad smell and bad atmosphere. Staff...

That s the worst and dirtiest place i ever stayed in my life and the worst of all is that i paid £100 for that. Please avoid this kind of filthy places. Brighton is such an expensive place but at least you should get some quality for the money you pay. Horrible

I came to Brighton with my friends to celebrate my 21st birthday. I booked the grapevine as it was cheap and everywhere else was expected £60+ a night per person. I was expecting much from a hostel just needed somewhere to rest our heads at the end of the night! Unlucky the weekend I choose to go down there the...
