Very rundown, basic, mould and water damage on ceilings in hallway. Building needs a desperate refurbishment. Staff were very helpful and friendly, shame the interior lets it down. 20 min walk from train station, near restaurants, bars and attractions.

Very poor rooms were supposed to have been done up when we last stayed in December 2015. Room was of poor quality but clean bathroom is a terrible and dangerous design. If I'd known nothing had been would have stayed elsewhere. The heating didn't work. They brought us up a potable heater. Windows were screwed shut so couldn't open them...

We paid 59 for a night here and we were less than impressed. Went back down to reception as room key card didn't work. We got told it must be our fault for putting them next to our phone; is it 1999 or 2017? Room was too hot in march. There was a fan but as it was loud with...

Not normally a snob however stayed here with my partner for one night (luckily), room was pokey and very basic, not the cleanest hotel I've stayed in & we were not told in advance that there would be building works during our stay and when we complained about the noise the receptionist didn't even apologise - terrible customer service. Would...

I wouldn't advise anyone staying here at the moment as there is fairly intensive works under way and my stay was horrific here as a result. The hotel is very dated and I understand the works will improve this but there was n signage advising you of what works were being carried out and no apologies. There is a night club

Booked in for 2 night stay with 3 other friends, twin rooms, second floor. Arrived in torrential rain to be warmly greeted by staff. Room was cosy and spotless clean. Yes, the rooms are slightly worn, but for the location and price would recommend to anyone.

The Brighton Seafront Travelodge is just a few metres away from King's Road, the main seafront promenade in Brighton, and a direct (downhill!) walk from Brighton station. Rooms are generally comfortable if unspectacular (standard Travelodge design) but it pays to ask for one on the quieter side of the building - the hotel is on West Street which is home...

My room was left open by the cleaning staff and my door key card was cancelled after one night. Only one lift which was working which meant very long waits. Building work everywhere. Seemed to be understaffed.
