I actually live in Brighton but stayed here overnight whilst my friend was visiting. We wanted to stay somewhere cheap but central so my friend could see all the best bits of Brighton and I have to say this exceeded my expectations. I'd read countless negative reviews but didn't let it phase me as we didn't plan on spending much...

Good hotel location , unfortunately not parking spaces available (but to be honest none of the hotels around have parking ) Rooms big enough nice and clean . Sfaff is smiley and friendly excepting Spanish lad from reception which is bitter and ignorant. My 4* review is for the lady manager which was a lovely persons , understanding our necessities.

I lived in Brighton years ago and the Albion had a poor reputation, but staying this weekend I was pleasantly surprised. The foyer is welcoming, staff professional and efficient, and my room was comfortable. I had a fairly large double room with a fantastic sea view, and the leather chairs were a nice modern touch. The price was reasonable, the...

It looked good from the outside and the location is fantastic, the reception staff warm and welcoming. It was clean and tidy although a little jaded. After going up to the third floor we had to thread our way through a maze of corridors to our room which in fairness was reasonable but in need of refurbishment. Dinner that evening...

Dirty hotel. Rude and arrogant staff. I had a superior room with the view on the sea but I couldn't see anything because the window was so dirty!Check out at 10am. They charged me £15 as I left my room at 11am. The room was different from the room that I saw on the website. Don't book this hotel! It's...

I stayed for 1 night hoping to relax myself. Unfortunately, the check-out was at 10am. Because of I left my room one hour late, I had to pay £15. On the website I read instead £10 for 2 hours. The standard room was in the basement. It was a depressing room I've never entered. Then, I booked at the hotel...

The victorians gave us this beautiful beautiful building yet it's been thrown to a sad state. The room overlooking the amazing pier is old and tired. It needs a silver service with afternoon tea and maybe a grand piano. It has so much potential I can't believe it hasn't been seized on. It could be a money spinner!! Also gambling...

As a hotelier, I have to say, I was absolutely disgusted with this hotel. The check in and staff were not professional, they lacked knowledge and just took the money without any assistance. The rooms were FILTHY, broken, with stains, dust and dirty linen everywhere. We moved rooms for free after their attempt to force us to pay 60.00GBP extra...

This hotel is great because it's right on the pier and a great location. It's good value for money if you don't want to spend a lot on a hotel, but it is run down. Our room - the air con and heating wasn't working, the light didn't work and the main light in the bedroom was hanging off! However...

Check in is 3pm. The first room on the 3rd floor was the most depressing room I've ever entered. No natural light due to a frosted window only opening 5 inches hiding the fact the outside was walled in with a noisy extraction that could drive you insane. The bathroom had a stained toilet, chipped enamel bath, peeling floors and...
