Great place to stay; relaxed atmosphere with very friendly and helpful staff. The room we stayed in was spacious, beautifully decorated with good quality bedding, White Company toiletries, robes, slippers etc. I would definitely return.

My boyfriend and I visited this hotel for one night in December. We stayed in the Yin Yang room which I would highly recommend. The view is amazing, and it's a lovely place to watch the sunset over Brighton's seafront, especially from the free standing bath in the room. Perfect for a special occasion or a treat.

The team at Drakes really appreciate the time you have taken to provide us with such a lovely review. We are so happy that you had such a wonderful time and that you got to experience one of Brighton's beautiful sunsets, we are so lucky every night is like a new display of colours! Once again, thank you for your...

Drakes hotel is right on the sea front at Brighton - the road below is incredibly busy 24 hours so its like sleeping above a motorway. For this reason I am giving this place 3 stars - if you are noise sensitive you won't sleep well here no matter how lovely or luxurious the rom. Also just to spell out...

Some of the service highlights we received at this hotel: a phone call the day before we were due to book in to check if there was anything they could help with; letting us park in the hotel before check in time; actually escorting us to our room (almost unheard of in a chain); topping up the sparkling water and...

This was our first time to Brighton, spectular views across the beaches. We decided to stay here for the whole week, it couldn't get better. I so delighted we chosen this hotel, lovely staff and very polite.

I came he fore the Brighton Marathon weekend, the cost was nearly twice the advertised price for a tiny room but that is down to supply and demand, you try getting a room in Brighton for the Marathon. The hotel has an amazing location on the sea front with a great view of the beach and pier from the room....

The best thing about Drake's is the location, which is very convenient for central Brighton, the Lanes and Kemp Town. Staff were very friendly and professional. The worst things about Drake's was that breakfast wasn't included in the room price, it is an extra £15pp (I recommend The Corner Cafe, a 1 minute walk from the hotel for breakfast -...

From excellent wine recommendations to tattoo parlour references (we were looking for a good tattoo shop), Drakes was a brilliant experience. We booked it as a last minute stop over treat in Brighton. The staff were beyond lovely and treated us like friends. I've just been diagnosed with a disability and they were very helpful with giving us a car...

Booked here on a competitively priced package, and after a previous personal recommendation. Very pleased to say not at all disappointed. The staff were all marvelous, helpful, informative ( about the hotel and Brighton in general) and of the nothing-is-too-much-trouble variety. The room (attic) was on the small size, but everything was there, including shower AND bath. The views (sea)...

The staff were amazing - helping with luggage and brilliant on the - overpriced- bar. The " City View room at £200.00 per night ( no breakfast) Looked over a corrugated pigeon roost - Pigeon called all night and day. Bed OK but small stairs to downstairs en-suite - not good for a 6.6 husband. Staff left a card for...
