Stayed at The Oriental during a long weekend in Brighton and thought it was excellent. The staff were friendly on arrival (tea made for us as we checked in) and then for the duration of our stay. The room was light and airy with good facilities. The hotel is 10 mins away from the centre of town and a 60...

Very friendly service, loved the quirky reception/dining area. I only stayed 1 night in a single room but it had everything I needed for my business trip - wifi, desk in the room. Location was also excellent, I had some free time and it was only a 20 minute walk to The Royal Pavilion. The Oriental is also only 50...

We often stay at The Oriental, in Brighton, as the service it always exceptional. The location is brilliant - away from central Brighton so quiet, yet you walk out of the front door and there is the sea! The rooms are varied in decor and size - so you can chose what suits your needs, and the breakfast which is...

Fine as a B& B but they are branding themselves as a hotel. Communal areas are very worn and dated, musty smell, "bar" area appears to be some bottled beer behind the reception desk/ bag storage area. Poorly trained staff. It was a great location, 1 min walk to the the quieter end of the beach, 10 mins up to...

The hotel is almost situated on the beachfront, yet far enough from the main beach road to be quiet. I stayed in a single room which was nice and clean, especially the bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable. There were nice touches such as a basket of sweets and snacks in the room as well as tea and coffee, which...

A lovely B&B. Good location, clean and well appointed room. The room was comfortable, clean with a cool decor. The only thing I did not like was the carpet. Would have been so much nicer having a wooden floor. Breakfast starts at 9am quite late since we had to leave by 8am. The price was a bit high but not...

Absolutely loved everything about Tha Oriental. !! The little extras in the room were a nice surprise. I wanted to bring my two cocker spaniels and meet up with my teenage children. The oriental was perfect as we had the larger suite and we all had a lovely time. The staff are very welcoming and the offer of complimentary soft...

Had a great stay here and will definitely be back soon. Nothing was too much trouble - the staff deserves a medal! We had a very lively beagle with us and he too was having a ball. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Stayed here last weekend as a surprise birthday weekend for my boyfriend and Leo the dog. We arrived late and had a lovely welcome, room was lovely and spacious, well equipped and with lots of treats. Local pub in walking distance a bonus. Breakfast was yummy and lots of choice. Tea and coffee always available and fresh milk. Could not...

I'm from Brighton, just not living there anymore and was back visiting friends. So I booked this place as it's nice and central... I loved it... Really warm welcome and a informative run through and then I was shown to my room. I was in a single room, it was small, but not too small. More than enough room. I...
