We have stayed here and eaten here before - and thoroughly enjyed ourselves. We have always given very good reviews, but with a rider, on our last visit, we did complain about cold plates. This visit, we mentioned on arrival about requiring hot plates. Upon...More
A lovely quaint seaside hotel. This is an old building, so there are no lifts. Not a problem for us. As this is an old buliding it was lovely and airy during our stay when temp soared to 30 degrees. No need for air-conditioning. They...More
I will be totally honest, not everything was perfect during my stay, but I judge hotels on how they respond to issues rather than the issues themselves. I had problems with my TV (sorted), tap (sorted) and temperature (sorted). This is an historic building, so...More

Breakfast was excellent... and seemed constantly good across all tables. Although we didn't eat dinner here the restaurant was busy.

I know that Brighton is notoriously bad for parking and although I have seen the hotel offers permits for surrounding roads, does anyone know what my chances would be of getting a space at 8ish in the morning? I have an early conference to attend and cannot be late so I don't know if it would be safer getting the train.

We had no problem parking we only drove around the block once and got a space and whilst we were parking other cars were going, so I would say drive.
