Couldn't get in the night before the marathon - would not have wanted to stay here, certainly not at the premium; but I don't particularly blame them for making the most of a demanding weekend. But I do criticize Travelodge for not putting extra resource in place for that premium. I ran the marathon (tip: be happy and stay outside...

Stayed at this hotel during the Brighton marathon weekend. Located right opposite the start of the marathon (Preston park) so the perfect hotel for anyone planning on running the marathon. Room was spacious, clean & well equipped for my needs, staff seemed very friendly The only thing I found a slight issue for me personally was the beds were too...

Stayed here for the Marathon weekend, my daughter was running. Travelodge should be ashamed of this 'hotel', it is filthy. Even the Reception was sticky when you leant on it! My daughter wouldn't even use the shower because it was so grubby, the loo was touching the wall and you had to use it sideways. The windows don't open so...

Stayed here with my family for 3 nights between Christmas and New Year. Lovely clean room for a family of 4. Great prices. Very friendly staff, especially at the bar. Lovely breakfast, with everything you could wish for. Will stay here again. Watch out for the parking costs in the car-park opposite though, as it's not manned and we lost...

We stayed here specifically for the BM10k as it's right on the start line and despite first impressions of the building being a bit tired our stay was quiet, comfortable and the staff were excellent! Yes the restaurant is a bit scruffy as are the rooms and communal areas but it was a great base for our needs and only...

This was the worst Travelodge I've ever used and I've used a lot... the whole building needs a face lift as does one of the dodgy lifts...I certainly didn't feel safe in it. The other wasn't working...Plus the restaurant and the bar was tiny...also the signage could be better for getting out of the building was like a rat run...

This hotel although a little out of the way of Brighton is still within walking distance of the city centre. It has a lovely view of the green and the rooms are a little basic and run down but clean and tidy enough. The beds are comfy and with the option for early check in and late check out suited...

Stayed here recently for a trip away with the wife. On the whole this is a great hotel only let down by a couple of niggles. 1. Only one lift working during our stay and the one that was was dirty and the floor display screen wasn't working 2. Some of the public areas were in need of redecoration which...

Brighton is expensive and although you can rely on travelodge to give you budget accommodation, this hotel really needs to up its game a bit. The reception staff are friendly and helpful but the place is really tired and dirty and in need of a facelift.

Our stay in Brighton was lovely and this hotel was too! Our room was warm, hygienic and the unlimited breakfast was wonderful.Since our stay was the week before Christmas the place where you get your breakfast was practically empty!
