We had stayed here before during the summer of 2015 on a blisteringly hot day but this time as autumn approaches it was a lot colder and instead of the pool we were able to appreciate the efficiency of the central heating! Once again from the time of booking and on arrival, breakfast and departure we were delighted with the...

What a gem of a hotel. We stayed there for 3 nights recently. Jason make you feel very welcome. The cooked breakfasts were magnificent. Jason was very attentive and ensured that we had everything we needed. The hotel room was just lovely and the bath was deep and wonderful after walking all day - very welcoming!! Wonderful hidden gem of a small hotel. Our children booked the break for us as we had spent our honeymoon in Hastings. We were welcomed by Jason, the owner, who made us a lovely cup of coffee and showed us to our room. We had the Blue Room, which was absolutely beautiful, with a wonderful view of the sea looking...

Too many extra lovely touches to list...the welcoming drink on arrival from friendly host.... the beautiful gardens, delightful room, open bar to relax and meet other guests...etc ..Must mention the more than ample breakfast which set us up for the day. Overall a great location, just a short walk to the seafront with many lovely amenities.

Billed as a B&B, but more like a boutique hotel, the White House is in a lovely spot, with fantastic views down over Hastings Old Town to the sea. There are many little touches to make the visitor welcome and comfortable. The room was spacious and comfortable, with good quality linen and furnishings, and mercifully devoid of pointless knick-knacks. Would...

Going to Hastings for a family birthday - we stayed at the White House because it looked good and conveniently placed. It is a substantial house on one of the rather populous streets on the east hill, but open the front door (or have it opened for you by Jason, the host or his staff) and you step into a...

The White House is set in a quiet part of Hastings. The spaceous back rooms look out over the garden towards the sea beyond. It is a 15 minute walk down the steep hill to the sea front where a selection of restaurants and bars can be found. Only once did we try to walk back up the hill, but...

Stayed for a short break recently. Jason the host was excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Good selection for breakfast, hot meal freshly cooked with extras - herb crusted tomatoes, local sausages. Many extras in the room - bathrobe, slippers, bottled water, fresh milk in the galley. View from the bedroom spectacular. Just a suggestion, we would have preferred fresh...

Beautiful room with a stunning view A gorgeous garden. Breakfast was a delight with fresh fruit salad, fresh juice a selection of cereals, fresh coffee and choice of cooked breakfast using local produce. The house itself is very charming as is Jason. Enjoyed our stay so much we have already booked a return stay.
