I booked well in advance so got a room only rate of £54. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed which compared very favourably to the Comfort Inn in Ramsgate where we stayed a couple of weeks ago in a tatty, dirty, small room for £26 more per night! Unlike the Comfort Inn, the staff seemed both professional and...

Went to this hotel with a Woucher deal. Advertised as Hastings but not actually in Hastings central. Beautiful looking hotel from the outside. The inside us a wonderful building that just looks a little tired. Looked very clean too. We had a suite with a sea view room. Again the suite was a great size with a qwerky spiral staircase...

An interesting hotel and one that would never be built now. I believe it dates to the 19th century when St Leonards was considerably smarter than it is now. It’s very dated but I prefer it like this. We had a suite which was huge, with high ceilings and large windows. The largest suite that we have so far had...

Right next to the sea, fantastic restaurant outlook with good food. A traditional vintage hotel with modern facilities taking us all back to the years of lesser pressure. The hotel has recently been painted on the outside which gives a welcoming upper-class check-in experience

I stayed here for a couple of nights and had a lovely stay. My double room was wonderfully large and spacious with a very comfortable bed and nicely decorated in a classic style. For the most part it was clean and well presented. The only downsides were 1. The shower was difficult to adjust and this also made it more...

As my partner had a business trip in Hastings, I decided to join him and we stayed at the Victoria Hotel, Architecturally, it is a beautiful building, inside and outside. The rooms as also beautiful, decorated in a refined and antique style and really spacious. It is old but certainly has been renovated. Service was great and everybody was helpful...

Decided to take a stroll along the front and search for a Martini. Found the Cocktail Lounge and Piano Bar here. Sadly they don't have any Martini glasses, Cocktail Shaker or lemon peel, so we accepted a wedge of lime. 😏 Generous measures here 1 part gin to 2 parts vermouth, we were even offered a choice of sweet or...

Had Sunday Lunch here with my son and a friend. A bit different from our last visit 4 years ago. My son and friend had the Roast Lamb which turned out to be on the tough side, I had Turkey and Roast Beef that was tender and slightly over cooked, but it was the Vegetables, it looked as though they...

We decided to stay at the Royal Victoria for two nights on our trip. We were a little worried by some of the comments on previous reviews. Most of the front exterior is now repainted and looks an improvement. The rear still needs completing. W had a seaview room which was upgraded to a suite. The rooms are very large...
