A small inn on the side of a very busy main road, since I last stayed they have added rooms downstairs thus loosing half the bar area. The rooms are dated and in need of restoration and hopefully the new landlord/lady will update them The bar area is bright and airey and could be better presented however the food was...

This hotel has ample free parking and a quaint pub/restaurant/reception but now for the negatives. The existence of a bed is, of course, number one on the priority list for a hotel room but the second most important feature to me in any hotel these days is dependable in-room wireless internet. My wife and I stay in dozens of different...

Unwelcoming reception when I checked in. Arrived at 2130 as had been told last check in at 2200. The manager seemed keen to be closing and was mainly concerned to make sure I understood 'no smoking' in rooms which of course I do as is standard in all hotels. Bulb out in room, television Ariel faulty connection, room not cleaned...

I stayed at the newmarket inn during the day as I'm a coach driver. When I arrived the staff were very friendly and helpful. I had a meal at the bar sizzling steak which was very good but I thought a little expensive but still I enjoyed. I was shown my room which was a single. Room was ensuite with...

THE most uncomfortable bed I have EVER tried to sleep on anywhere in the world. Coffee at breakfast was the WORST I have had in ANY establishment - ever. The mainstream coffee advertised on every table is simply a misleading table decoration and if the supplier knew, they'd be absolutely horrified & withdraw their name immediately. My stewed brown slop...

We are sorry you didnt have an enjoyable stay with us. Should you have voiced your concerns whilst with us we would have looked into them and resolved them to the best of our ability. The coffee you mention on the table talkers is actually the brand we serve at breakfast as filter coffee which is transferred to our airport...

The second room was fine the first one had no wifi. The lady who runs the place is a bit off and not very good customer service. The rest off the staff where great! Wifi was a bit slow but place is remote.

I have driven past many times but finally made the effort to stop. on the Brighton bound carriageway it is quite unassuming and likely passed by. Big mistake! The 6.99 carvery was not only good value but included a house special ratatouille which was outstanding! Great flour and just spicy enough to make it a very exciting dish. I will...

This hotel needs a makeover in just about every area. No welcome, couldn't find our booking, took our money before even showing us our rooms! Our 2 rooms were clean but very dated. Our bed was a thin mattress on a wood base. Very uncomfortable. The other room's bed was equally uncomfortable and they had black mould on the bathroom...
