Great B&B in the heart of Bourton with lovely friendly hosts, Bob & Jan. The bed was very comfortable and we had a lovely room with a four poster bed. The breakfast was extremely good with a great choice of cereals, yoghurts and full cooked English breakfast. It is difficult to find as there are no signposts showing it's location...

Lovely birthday weekend away in Bourton on the Water staying at the Chestnuts! You can't get any more central and Jan and Bob were excellent hosts! Very acommodating and our room (6) was plenty big enough and very comfy! Plenty of brochures on the dresser in the hall with fridge for guests! (Fab for chilling the birthday champers! ) Would...

Jan and Bob made us feel at home. This B&B is right in the heart of the village. Comfy bed, clean, hearty breakfast and dink making facilities, what more could you want? Well for me, it is a stair lift and yes they have one! If you need one too, tell Jan at time of booking and she will put...

Wonderful couple of nights in Bourton with great accommodation in the centre of the action of a Cotswolds village. Bob and Jan are exceptional hosts and the breakfast was outstanding. Only downside albeit quaint is the slanted floors and small bathrooms, although given the place is older than Australia, it still functioned and had heaps of charm. Do it! You'll...

This B band B was great right from the full breakfast to the comfortable beds. We were made extremely welcome. When we had transport problem and needed to get to a wedding venue our dear hostess took two trips for six of us. I would like to return here again.

Stayed here before, back again to celebrate my Fiancés 60th Birthday with family and friends. Janet allowed me to provisionally book all her rooms over a year ago. Communication was faultless and amending our booking was not an . Janet and Bob are great hosts. Lovely quirky building. Great rooms. Would recommend to anyone. Thank you for making our weekend...

Really grubby entrance, the room allocated to us was dark, dismal and not comfortable. There was no hot water for a shower on second evening and still cold the following morning. The bed did have clean linen which was a plus, but décor needed updating and there was unfinished work going on in the ensuite, ie skirting board unpainted and...

We loved our two nights in Chestnuts. Janet and Bob were wonderful hosts. Located right in the middle of this beautiful village it is the perfect place to stay. We enjoyed a lovely walk to Lower Slaughter to see the old mill and waterwheel. Local restaurants and cafes in abundance. A very enjoyable stay. Highly recommended.

Great rooms, lovely hosts. Breakfast very well Cooked and plenty of it. Very clean and quiet rooms away from the road. Not ideal for older folks as there are stairs to climb. Get you own key so can come and go as you want
