Our first experience at the Battledown B&B has been excellent. We can't praise enough the high level of professionalism and efforts Sarah and Simon put to ensure that our stay was comfortable and homely: Everything was thought through to the minute detail. We were very impressed. The house itself has kept its grandeur and the renovation highlights the features. We...

This is the second time we have stayed at The Battledown Bed and Breakfast, and we hope to keep coming back again and again. We arrived late afternoon on the Friday and Sarah greeted us with tea and homemade cookies (which were really yummy). We had booked a double room this time, but were upgraded to a family room which...

To me The Cheltenham Festival and The Battledown are inextricably linked year on year as you cannot have one without the other. Sarah and Simon make The Battledown a real home from home and nothing is ever too much trouble. The rooms are pristine, the breakfast is unsurpassable and they are the most welcoming and friendly of hosts I think...

The Battledown offers a very high standard of comfort and our hosts could not have done more for us. The breakfast was lovely and the homemade baked beans and marmalade are definitely to be recommended. Having parking available is a real plus point, especially with the town centre only 15 minutes walks away. We have been visiting Cheltenham for many...

Excellent room and fittings, either exceptionally well looked after or only recently decorated. very welcoming family, helped us relax straight away. Good location without being in the very centre of town. We are planning to return soon
