6 of us went for a lunch at the Fleece on Saturday lunch time, we where looked after quite quickly, but we waited over 1/2 for burger and chips. The burgers were luke warm, but we were hungry, the vegetarian burgers were sent back as they were not at all hot, when they came back were very disappointing. The hotel...

We have had a great time. Stayed in a standard room which wasn't huge but perfectly adequate for the two of us. It was very clean and warm and we had a great nights sleep. Staff and service excellent. Breakfast lovely and cooked to order, dinner on the Friday night was great too. I would recommend anyone to stay here....

Stayed overnight for my birthday. It's a beautifully decorated old inn, clean, quiet, lovely room, and friendly, helpful staff. Really enjoyed our stay. There's a busy bar/ restaurant downstairs, which was great for drinks, we ate out so cannot comment on food. There is parking at the rear, but small,we got a space, but not guaranteed, there is on street parking...

A great place to stay in the heart of Cirencester. Parking is limited, so normally before 6:30pm is ok otherwise it's FOC parking overnight a further 3mins walk away. The fleece is far from perfect, it's old, the boards creak, and the layout isn't great, however isn't that the appeal of an older property? I've read other comments about the...

A Friday night stay at the Fleece for my husband and I. We had never visited the Cotswolds before and what a great start to our visit ! The Fleece made us feel very welcome, we parked up in the car park provided, had a nice cup of tea in our Gorgeous bedroom overlooking the high street, then had a...

My partner and I stayed at The Fleece for a long weekend in early February; a welcome return visit for us having also chosen to spend a weekend together there in 2015. As previously, on this occasion The Fleece again proved to be a convenient and welcoming base in central Cirencester, and in our opinion represented excellent value for money...

While the pub downstairs was pleasant enough, and the staff were friendly the room was really not up to scratch, with wallpaper peeling off, mould in the bathroom, the handrail of the bath hanging out the wall and a stained toilet seat. All a bit grotty, and certainly not worth the £122 we booked for When flagged up to the...
