I called to book a stay and was immediately informed that the diary isn't opened at the weekend and I will have to call between Monday - Friday 9-5pm! And that if I wanted to book don't bother as there isn't any availability! Well I won't bother!

From the outside very charming and the inside very historic, but disappointed with our room. Small and not much room to move around. We were moved here from another B&B after they had over booked, but at £130 this is massively over-priced.

Painswick is a lovely Cotswold Village and I loved the look of Cardynham House but was so disappointed with our Room . We stayed in the Highland Room at the very top of the B&B . I would not recommend it as the Ensuite is in the Bedroom and the Shower was too small even for me and I'm only...

Stayed here for 2 nights in March '17 and had a lovely time. We arrived quite late but the kitchen was still open and had a very nice dinner. The chef, I think his name is Mario, was really friendly and we had a lovely bottle of his Romanian wine. We stayed in the Dovecote room which was really spacious...

The village of Painswick greets you like a film set of the Cotswold's and it gets better. You enter the Cardyman Hotel by a little side door (watch your head and the steps down) before stepping back in time for your holiday/break. The Cardynham House is graded Four star 'Guest Accommodation' with a delightful Bistro serving excellent meals and 5...

Beautiful little village and staff were lovely and polite even though we were concerned as people said on here that the owner john was rude with people with vouchers but he was very kind to us. Unfortunatly we had to leave a noght early as the beds were just way to small considering my other half is 6'4 most hotels...

Stayed here for two nights in the New England Room. It was so cosy and comfortable we barely left the place (which is rare for me and my boyfriend). The room was full of character and well decorated, bed very comfy and all very clean. The views over the Cotswolds from this room are lovely. Cute little nook with a...

We stayed at the Cardynham House for 2 nights in March; I do agree with some of the comments that the man at the end of the phone was a bit brusque, but the staff at the hotel were nothing but helpful and very pleasant throughout our stay. Our room was very quirky but lovely! We stayed in the New...

Having tried to redeem a voucher with this hotel I can only say don't bother. Before I had even mentioned the voucher it seemed that I was an inconvenience trying to book a room - how could I not know how popular and over-booked they already are? The long and short of the phone call was that I might as...

We stayed at the end of January and when we arrived the room (number 2) was freezing cold - so cold we thought about leaving. Luckily we found a fan heater in the wardrobe and left that running. We think that the radiator had probably only been turned on the morning we arrived since the room soon heated up. The...
