We arrived in the evening when we were greeted by a female member of staff, she was extremely helpful and given my height offered to move myself and my partner into a room which would be more accommodating. We were moved into the Cottage suite which was absolutely amazing, the layout was greatly planned with the bed being upstairs on...

We have stayed here before in one of the three garden rooms - never the main building. The hotel is old and the literature warns you to be careful moving about the place but nothing prepares you for the precipitous stairs that lead to rooms 8-11 located on the third floor. Parking is very tight at the rear of the...

My wife booked us for a three night stay at the Kings Arms as an anniversary surprise and we were not disappointed by the experience. All staff were friendly and we were lucky enough to stay in the Desert Orchid room on the top floor...yes the stairs are interesting but that makes it more an experience - you cannot stay...

We stayed at The Kings Arms Hotel for three nights, I had contacted them prior to ask for room with shower instead of bath and this is what we received. The Kings Arms is a very old building and access with a car does appear difficult at first, we finally parked in a restricted 2 hour spot. Check in was...

We arrived without a booking frantically looking for a suitable b&b for one night in Stow on the Wold. Were feeling quite discouraged till we chanced upon the Kings Arms around almost 7pm. John took our booking and was most helpful and welcoming. We were told about the steep stairs but being adequately fit we took the chance and lugged...

Left our home town at lunchtime yesterday with the intention of just finding ''somewhere to stay'' in the Cotswold's. Ended up at the Kings Arms hotel in Stow on the Wold and we were not disappointed. We stayed in room 9 the Desert Orchid room and it was lovely. Staff were very friendly and the regular locals were also really...

What a lovely, experience. The staff namely "Maisy" was delightful. Nothing was too much to ask for. I requested that I order an item from the starter menu and it be turned into a main meal. Not a problem! I got exactly what I asked for! Maisy topped my wine up for me and was totally attentive! My husbands steak...

My visit to the Kings Arms was a quick over-nighter between destinations around the Cotswold. From the moment I stepped over the threshold Lou and her team were extremely welcoming and could see I'd had a long day in the brisk May weather and offered to dry my jacket and a beverage of choice? A refreshing pint of one of...

Walking around Stow on the Wold, looking for a dog friendly place to et- we started here and didn't leave. We had a very enjoyable stay. Staff friendly and helpful. Great location within town and for many attractions within the area. Rooms comfortable, clean with good facilities. Hotel very old with a lot of character but beware lots of steep stairs. Would go back.
