This location is real hidden gem. Close to Tetbury, but with open fields all around, it is a perfect location for a wedding or large family gathering. An awe inspiring canopy of blue stars above in the massive Tythe Barn roof give this location a truly unique feel. A journey up some steps and you are in a mezzanine space...

This is my/our first Trip Advisor review but one we absolutely have to make. My wife researched many wedding venues and we had an essentials list for every place we looked at. Top of the list was a wow factor in the venue and also accommodation. We have a large family spread across the UK so we needed plenty of...

A superb location for a wedding. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and were made to feel very welcome by all the staff, especially Trace (the bar manager). We would recommend this venue to others, it's stunning.

We got married at The Great Tythe Barn at the end of January and really found the ideal venue for us and our special day. We wanted somewhere that not only provided us with the barn where we could marry and celebrate, but we were also able to make a weekend of seeing our family and friends. Most people that...

The Great Tythe Barn is a very special venue, the setting just on the outskirts of Tetbury makes it both convenient to pop into this old market town and also to feel you are in your own special world. I visited the venue for my son's wedding, it was a spectacular event that was supported by the ease and support...

We came here for a wedding reception. As a venue it has the wow factor. Sadly the food & drink really let them down. Sausage baps were served with pale anaemic sausages. I decided to try one. I wish I hadn't. They were so under cooked the sausage skin wouldn't burst. I'd liken the sensation to eating sausage meat through...

Dear Sir/Madam Thank you for your review. We are really saddened to hear you did not have an enjoyable time at a wedding here at the Barn. We really pride ourselves on the service we offer recently being voted runner up in the Countryside Venue of the year so to hear feedback like this is terrible. We actually outsource our...

We stayed here on the 20th November for a friends wedding which was held in the barn. It's a stunning venue and we had a great day. The B&B rooms are very comfortable but my only criticism would be the breakfast. Essentially it's cereal and toast. There is no option to have anything hot which was really disappointing. That said,...

We are so pleased you enjoyed the wedding celebrations as The Great Tythe Barn and that you found the bed and breakfast rooms to be very comfortable. We are sorry you found the breakfast disappointing. We do provide yoghurt, fruit, croissants and muffins in addition to the normal cereal and toast. I am sorry but we do not offer a...

Lovely spot for my sons wedding. However on arrival remembering it was November it would have been nice if staff had ensured all radiators were working and indeed heating turned on. The cottages were nice and cosy, for our second night.

Thank you for your review. We are so pleased you had a lovely time at your son's wedding. We do leave the heating on at all times during the winter in all our accommodation and leave it to guests to adjust to their preference when they arrive. We are sorry, if on this occasion, it was perhaps left on a...

We got married here and it was the most beautiful venue, with a stunning fairy light canopy and features. The whole grounds are beautiful, with such a range of accommodation to fit all needs, we stayed in a B&B room whilst my husbands family stayed in the cottage with elderly family, who appreciated the homely feel. We had so many...

Went here for a friends daughters wedding. Amazing venue, loads of parking and outside space. Bar staff very good and the freshly cooked pizza in their oven for the evening were delicious. Nice to have a main room and a small room for folks to meet up in. The whole of the inside is wooden and was a bit concerned...

Hello Thank you for your review, we are always really pleased to hear from people who have had a lovely time at a wedding here. I am glad the pizza went down well, always a firm favorite. I just wanted to address the fire doors as they do not lock from the inside. They are all on a bar release...
