This was absolutely worth the trip. Would recommend Zensa Lodge any time. A very nice and relaxing place to stay. Hein and Cyril are amazing hosts and always friendly. The food is great from breakfast to dinner and you can really taste the passion that the chef has for it. Already planning our next trip to the lodge.

Nice enough place to visit, but yet again what's promised on the website and real life are well removed from each other. Mattresses were ancient and well beyond need of replacement. Dinners if you are lucky. Our rooms and the general appearance of the lodge is that it is in serious need of maintenance not just the quick lick of...

Dear Andre. Thank you for taking the time to write down your experience. Obviously we buy new mattresses regularly - it is the essential B in our B&B - perhaps you were unlucky to fall on a softer mattress than you expected. And a B&B indeed that is what we are. When enough guests are interested to sit around a...

Another amazing weekend and we had perfect weather thrown in. The dinner Saturday evening was a very special meal cooked by Mignonne who's love for cooking adds to the flavour of the food. Our hosts Hein en Cyril were as gracious as ever. Zensa has become an annual favourite, so we'll definitely be back next year!

Zensa Lodge is a fantastic place to relax and enjoy life. Owners and staff very welcoming and perfect service - always with a smile. The beach is close to the lodge, but the water is really cold. The pool is a better place for a swim. The room is very nice with tasteful design. Looking forward to come back in...

Best place to relax. Walk to the beach. Good food with all facilities. Not too much wind , even when south easter is on the mountain in Cape Town. We enjoyed a quiet weekend away. We could not have asked for better service.

Wow! What a pleasant stay we have at Zensa Lodge. The lodges are so beautiful decorated, best we have seen in South Africa during our trip. Location was for us spot-on, we drove from Cape Town to Scarborough via Chapmans Peak Drive, what an experience! Next day we visit Cape Point and Boulders Beach from Zensa Lodge. Accommodation has got...

Zenza Lodge is one of those places that appeals to all the senses!!! The food was fantastic, service always with a smile - and the biggest surprise of all was to be treated to the most incredible live performance by Cyrille and Hein during dinner on the Saturday night. Dear Marcelle, You make us blush. We love playing a few songs to our guests. After a long career in music, travelling the world, it is such a joy to play without having to travel and all the stuff that comes with that. Thank you for the pillow recommendation. We'll add some fluffy ones - easy. Warm regards, Hein and...

Great place, nice , friendly owners and staff. Very relaxed and chilled, ideal location close to beach. Scarborough is very quite though if your looking for night life. Not a great selection of resteraunts but a few cheap and cheerful places to eat.

Dear Stever, Thank you for your positive response. Indeed Scarborough is not dynamic and full of restaurants like Camps Bay. In fact 4 years ago there was only Camel Rock. Scarborough has grown over the last few years, but we all hope it will keep its rustic and tranquil character. Hope we can see you again when you are in...
