We had stayed here 15 years ago and decided to try it again. It did not disappoint. The staffs are very attentive and helpful. The recommended some very good restaurants in the area and arrange taxis for us to go to them. The overall building is a fine English manor with very nice grounds and multiple walking paths for you...

We stayed here for one night and ate in the restaurant. Our room was of a good size but opened out onto the road but I asked to change it I was assured we would not hear anything and generally speaking they were right, although there was still limited local traffic early next morning. We ate in the restaurant which...

I have just returned from a night's stay at this delightful hotel. The stay was a birthday gift from my sons and what a treat it turned out to be! I cannot fault the room - spacious, stylish and beautifully appointed with top quality linen, towels and toiletries, the service quietly efficient, helpful and friendly, the gardens-extensive,beautiful and well maintained, and of...

Stayed mid week for a short break. Wonderfully peaceful location. Many beautiful walks and wellies provided. The room was large and very comfortable and the bathroom luxurious. Everything in the hotel spotless although we felt the bar needed some up dating. Old peoples home lounge came to mind!! For all of our stay in all area's of the hotel the...

The true hallmark of quality is what happens when something goes wrong, as it did on my visit to Lords of the Manor. I raised the issue with Paul Thompson, General Manager and he has come up with a very, very satisfactory solution. Everything at Lords of the Manor is done with consummate style. From the moment you arrive when...

I have now stayed at the Lords of the Manor three times and each time seems to be better than the last, even though it was hard to top my previous stay at Christmas time. The dining is wonderful; the service is casual, yet impeccable, and the rooms are comfy, like staying at a favorite well-to-do Aunt's country home. The...

If you love beautiful countryside, long walks, quaint villages and lovely food this is definitely a hidden gem! The staff were lovely and couldn't do more to help. This was our first stay at Lords of the Manor hotel and my husband and I stayed for our anniversary celebrations over the Easter weekend and had such a wonderful stay we couldn't fault it. Right from booking our reservation over the telephone through to our departure was met with the utmost professionalism we have experienced. The Lords of the...

We stayed for one night recently for an early Easter break and as on previous occasions had a wonderful and restful time. The staff are excellent. Very friendly and helpful without being at all intrusive. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious and we will certainly be back as soon as we can. Cannot recommend highly enough. If you like gardens...

I stayed here couple of years ago. The place was fantastic, full of hospitality and very good food and wines. I still remember the moment I was chatting with my girlfriend (now my wife) sitting on the bench in front of the place under the moon, bugs singing around us. I had bitter experiences being in Cotswold facing some light...
