I liked this Ibis hotel and would stay there again if in the area. I had a problem with a window not closing and it was repaired before I returned. The staff were friendly, the room clean, the bed comfortable, and the internet worked fine in my room. I chose it for the convenient location near centre city and dockyards....

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

I have stayed here several times. Central to all attractions and the Ferry departures. On site parking. Rooms are clean, well appointed, tea/coffee making. Only drawback is the bathroom is small, especially if you are a bigger person. Having said that, you can do all you need to. Beds are large and rooms always clean when Ive stayed there. One...

Some very good points and not so good.....very friendly reception and all staff were exceptionally friendly. The reception and bar area is very welcoming, spacious and nicely decorated. Parking excellent and at £7 thought it was good value. Dog friendly with a charge as normal. Good central location and walkable to Gunwharf Quays and historic Portsmouth and a short taxi...

At the end of the day this is a 3 Star Ibis town centre hotel. Rooms are small and functional. However, I stay there regularly and chose it above other chains because without exception the staff are so friendly and create a welcoming atmosphere. They are a credit to the Ibis brand and the Portsmouth hotel in particular.

The rooms are very small but with all basic needs met. the staff are very friendly and keen to help. We stayed for one night and booked a late check out. We walked to the dockyard and also into Southsea so the hotel is well placed.

So, for £70 a night, you get the smallest room I've ever been in. You also get the worlds tiniest bathroom, with a toilet you can barely sit on, and a shower even the thinnest person would struggle to get into (with a head that doesn't have tilt adjustment!). Parking is a criminal £7 a day extra, making this place...

I am an Accor Silver member and an Accor Plus Member - I felt very welcome. I was visiting Portsmouth to see the Historic Dockyards. The Ibis is a short walk to the dockyards and the train station. Close to all conveniences. Rooms are clean, good sized and funky. Free Wifi was very good.

We only stayed one night on a quick stopover, so didn't require too much in the way of facilities....however I can honestly say if we had paid full price we would have been very disappointed (we had booked through booking.com). Room was sooooo small! Luckily we are both slim otherwise we may not have been able to use the bathroom!...

Great to stay before early morning ferry. Easy walk into old Portsmouth. Several pubs nearby. 15 mins from port. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Will stay again. Friendly staff. £7 to park overnight
