Wonderful guest house, clean and comfortable, with welcoming hosts. The owners helped at to accommodate 3 of my colleagues at short notice and were very helpful. Very pleased with the service I received and I highly recommend this guest house.

We stopped here for one night prior to a cruise in October 2015. I have nothing but praise, everything was excellent, the room, breakfast, etc. The room was the cleanest I think that I have ever stayed in. The owner was very helpful giving us directions into town and then onto the cruise terminal which is two minutes away. I...

I had one night at Landguard Lodge B and B in a single room en-suite room with t.v. as I was travelling solo on my way to hospital the next morning. John was very welcoming and as I was leaving early the next morning I asked if I could have a sandwich that afternoon, as I was hungry after travelling,...

My wife and I stayed here as we needed to be in Southampton (for reasons about which I won't bore you) on our way to France via ferry from Portsmouth and I had booked tickets for the Mayflower Theatre on Saturday evening so wanted accommodation close by; couldn't have done much better. As another reviewer said. it is "on a...

Booked to stay the night before our cruise, through booking.com and paid £95 for a double room on B & B basis. We arrived ahead of schedule due to M3 traffic issues, and arrived during the busy breakfast period. This is was an inconvenience as the owner checked us in promptly. The room has just been vacated, and so was...

The B&B is on a residential street with other B&Bs' and student rental properties. not that this is a bad thing...I'm just making an observation. Parking is available at the front of the property and on the street. The beds and were comfortable but dated! Although I did have a really modern bathroom and a nice warm/powerful shower. Then in...

John's establishment is clean and pleasant and he clearly is well liked by his regular patrons and those staying for at least a few days. The b&b was fully booked when I arrived so I was upgraded from a single room to a twin. The room was very comfortable and spacious, if sporting rather bland decor. There were coffee/tea making...

This place cancelled our booking the day before. They had found a reservation elsewhere, in a B&B that had 0 stars be reviewers, with appalling photos and reviews. We declined to accept this an alternative and were rebooked at the Jurys Inn, Southampton, which was also poor.

We stayed here for two nights, 3 rooms for 4 people in total. Good location for city centre. The rooms were immaculate and comfy, breakfast was lovely with a vegetarian option no bother. Would stay here again
