Stayed one night at the end of October. Perfect location in quiet street near cathedral and city centre. I had been informed that the en suite garden room was not available but that I could stay in the house. I exchanged several emails: all those I received were in Christine's name and I booked the room assuming that Christine would...

Good things -Richard the host is super and very helpful and sorted any problems we had . a very nice chap. The garden is lovely, the location is very central, two mins to the high st. Things we were unhappy about- The room is very disappointing for £ 95.00 a night. The double bed is pushed against the wall.so getting...

My husband and I stayed at this bed and breakfast, which proved to be in an excellent location. The real shining star of our stay was Richard. What a charming and attentive host. Richard was all too pleased to help us with two bicycles which needed to be stored in the back garden. Richard made us feel so welcome, it...

My visit to Winchester was made by this accommodation. It was close to the Cathedral and I was able to return at any time during the day. I immediately felt at home and was welcomed. I stayed in the purpose built brick building in the garden and it was a peaceful haven and offered all the facilities one could wish...

Although this wee little cottage is in a great location & it is easy to walk anywhere, my mom & I both agree that the best feature of this cottage is Richard. Richard was our host for our two night stay, and he went above and beyond to be helpful. His breakfasts were superb, and he was kind and extremely...

Best place my daughter and I stayed in while in England for two weeks this month. Most relaxing garden cottage room, loved looking up at stars at night from the bed, breakfast was the best! So close to the cathedral and walking to town/pubs. If at all going to Winchester... make sure to book at this wonderful place.

We were in Winchester for a family christening at the cathedral and booked to stay at the B&B for two nights. The location of the B&B is fantastic! there is no parking however the Chesil st car park was easy to access and very close by so it didn't bother us at all. We are not hotel people and normally...

Booked with view of staying over night prior to joining our cruise ship so were seeking a place within driving distance of Southampton; this place fitted the bill. Within city centre so close proximity to plenty of restaurants for evening meals. Our accommodation was a converted building at the end of the garden and was most comfortable and offered all...

This small B & B is on a quiet street, yet right in town. It's a stone's throw from the cathedral, which is why I came here. I spent three days at the cathedral, and could easily pop back to Cathedral Cottage for a little rest and tea. Friendly hosts, clean, my pick for my next visit.

This is without a doubt one of my best homely BnB stays in terms of the wonderful hospitality of our host! I had an important conference I had to attend and just two days before I injured my back quite painfully. Still, I really did not want to cancel! We informed owner who was so kind, compassionate and helpful throughout...
