On Saturday 24th September my husband and I celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary at the Three Counties Hotel. I have only good things to say about the whole thing. Initial enquiries some months before were positive and clear. Adjustments were made to standard menus on offer for our preferences and for allergies. As well as that I arranged for an... More

Stayed for two nights last week. Reception staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Nice hotel with good sized rooms. No real complaints about anything to do with my stay. Hotel restaurant wasn't great although their breakfast was very good. Dinner menu prices were expensive and not value for money.

I stayed last week as a single traveller in an annex bungalow type twin room. The room and quiet location deserved the star rating. Everything was very clean and tidy with a 32inch tv. However! As the weather was slightly chilly, the room temperature was only adequate even after I had gently complained and was assured that an engineer would... More

We organised a Motorcycle trek event which was based at the Three Counties Hotel. We had an weekend DBB rate which was excellent for the food and service we received. Rooms are comfortable and clean and the staff were very helpful in the months leading up to our event as well as the weekend itself. All feedback we have had... More

Only stayed one night on business. Friendly welcome at reception and nice room but restaurant was a bit rushed. Seemed to want me to move on quickly so they could start preparing for breakfast next day. A little noise from adjoining room during the night but overall, a good stay.

Stayed two nights for a reunion and we're well looked after. The room was clean and tidy. I couldn't change the combination on the safe so had to use the one set by the hotel. The food served was great however a little disappointed by the sausages at breakfast, bit dense, more cereal than meat. The bar had a good... More

My room was actually a snall house in the near area and in bed the signal was so poor that I couldn't watch netflix or log into our business network. Hotel is a bit outdated but very clean and very very friendly staff. Breakfast is very minimal but tasty and OK.

Stayed for a few nights B&B only as meeting up with family for celebrations. Booked a garden room which was fine. Plenty of hot water. A bit of sound from next door on occasions but not anymore intrusive than other places, on odd occasions. The decor fine if a bit dated but it had a slightly grand spacious feel about... More
